I love my job, I get paid to take folk on grand days out like today where we re visited the Leeds Armouries which had a special weekend to do with The War of the Roses (which Lancaster won btw), they had two handed sword displays, falconry, Bow and arrow shooting and 2 big battle reenactments one which I videoed and have put on here for you all to enjoy.
Now forgive a bit of a shakey cam and my Waheying and cheers for house Lancaster ( remember I was in enemy territory and obviously they couldn't have Lancaster win due to being in Yorkshire).
So here is the video and yes I'm joining the war of the roses federation
.

Oh and while looking around I found a M41A Pulse Rifle which as you can tell I could hardly disguise my nerdgasm.

Also Game of Thrones is based on the war of the roses
.

"The only good thing thing that came out of Lancashire is the road to Yorkshire."

Michael Parkinson joke reversed. ^

Signed,

A Yorkshire man.

Muskets are nice but there's nothing like a longbow to make you die gurgling in yer own blood. Armour is no defence against a longbow.

I know I got 2
.
But against plate you are not getting past 12g steel. but if you get them in a chink in the armour yup it would hurt.

The arrows are sometimes just a diversion. Walking around in a steel suit I would guess can be quite cumbersome. I mean Lancastrian...

Eckythump!

The Lancastrian martial art of Eckythump!.

I just learnt that If in Yorkshire you probably would have been with house Lancaster it was the southerners who followed York.

Or a mace. Wasn't Richards head bashed in with one?
War used to be way more personal.

A very old joke:

Once a King always a King but once a Knight is enough.

I'll see myself out...

Indeed. Us Northerners (regardless of county) stick together.
Lancashire hotpot or Yorkshire pudding? I'll have both thanks!
