Some flowers bloom

Some flowers bloom
others do not
Why is this?
What happens to them?
Do they tie themselves in knots
Or do they forget
there is a sky above.
Perhaps no one tells them
there is another life
Or maybe their vision
is clouded, from lack of love.
Can the bloomers dive back down
or is it just not possible to turn around.
No matter which way it is
springtime is near
thousands are budding
Rivers are flooding
their time is near.
For those who are trying
I offer a cheer.
keep on rising
out of our fear.
