The fix is in. Why am i not surprised. Facebook Gave Money To 85% Of House Committee "Questioning" Zuckerberg Next Week
Since 2007, the social media giant has contributed a cumulative $381,000 to 46 of the 55 members on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which will hear from Zuckerberg on Wednesday.
While the average committee member received between $6,750 and $6,800, Committee Chair Greg Walden (R-OR) received $27,000, and top ranking Democrat Frank Pallone of New Jersey received $7,000 from Facebook.
Rep. Anna Eschoo (D-CA), whose district is adjacent to Facebook headquarters and home to many Facebook employees, received the most from Facebook at $55,150 since 2007. Eschoo narrowly lost a battle with Pallone for ranking Democrat position on the committee in the 2014 election.
Walden and Pallone announced Zuckerberg's appearance on Wednesday to testify on "critical consumer data privacy issues."
“This hearing will be an important opportunity to shed light on critical consumer data privacy issues and help all Americans better understand what happens to their personal information online,” Messrs. Walden and Pallone said in a Wednesday statement. “We appreciate Mr. Zuckerberg’s willingness to testify before the committee, and we look forward to him answering our questions on April 11th.” (also, thanks for all that money Zuck! We'll be sure to put the softballs on a plastic "T" for you)
Meanwhile, a Roll Call report reveals that two Democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee have nearly $100,000 invested in shares of Facebook - with Democratic Reps. Joe Kennedy of MA and Kurt Schrader of OR owning approximately $80,000 and $15,000 respectively.

Just a heads up for the people currently lurking on /QR/ #1203. There are some really disturbing pics being posted that could upset you. Don't post them here!
Tarantino?
He's as corrupt as they come.
I'm not surprised.
Nothing from my association w/Hollywood surprises me anymore.
Corruption is commonplace.
What little we actually hear about...is nothing compared to what actually takes place.
One of the things that sucks the most about this is seeing people who we previously liked/admired/respected turn out to be the biggest scumbags out there. I used to like the hell out of that particular scumbag.
Former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch insists her infamous secret 2016 meeting with former President Bill Clinton had nothing to do with the investigation into Hillary Clinton that was ramping up at the time.
Lynch has seldom addressed the subject since first acknowledging that she had met with Bill Clinton on a Phoenix, Arizona airport tarmac, just months before the presidential election.
Mrs. Clinton was at the time the subject of an FBI investigation into her use of a private, unsecured email account during her time as secretary of state – an account that housed classified documents.
Lynch told NBC News that it's true 'my speaking to the former president raised concerns in people's minds about whether or not there was going to be any impact on the email investigation.'
But despite the criminal probe hanging over Hillary's head at the time, she insisted in the interview broadcast Monday that the topic never came up and the two talked only 'about innocuous things.'
The former president, she said, told her a 'long but charming story' about his grandchildren and talked about 'issues of the day' including the United Kingdom's decision to exit the European Union.
Their exchange, soon to be fodder for conspiracy theories, 'turned into a much longer conversation than it should have,' she conceded.
And at the time the news of the meeting first leaked out, Lynch said she regretted entertaining him on the parked government jet.
'I certainly wouldn't do it again. Because I think it has cast a shadow,' she said then.

Quentin Tarantino,
Rob Zombie (House of 1000 Corpses).
he F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress.
Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.”
The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York. “Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Muell

I'm hearing that the FBI just raided the office of Michael Cohen. I don't recall if he's president Trump's current or former attorney.
