Longtime Alabama Rep. Jack Williams, 60, former state GOP Chairman Marty Connors, 61, and Trina Healthcare CEO Ford Gilbert, 70, were arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Allegedly some money changed hands, to push through a bill to require insurance companies to cover treatment by the alleged payees treatment centers.

Capitalism at it's best. It's frustrating. I wonder how much of this kind of thing goes on that we never hear about.

A lot.

Look at Florida's Rick Scott.

I'll never understand how Rick Scott was able to resign when Columbia/HCA was under investigation, walk away unscathed and become governor of Florida.

This is a good place to keep track of all the big pharma money (and other kind of big corp money) that are changing hands - and which hands in politics are receiving the bribes... oops, I mean campaign donations and such.

This appears to be outright bribery instead of donations to a campaign and discretion fund that the congressman can swindle the money out of for lunches and golf course fees. Gee, evidently they are not educated in the proper way to bribe someone.
