The US Military cannot be deployed on US soil. They can only hold training maneuvers .
That is the National Guard units for each States responsibilities.

They can demand for a Visa application. Then wait like many families and mine did.

They can demand for a better home. Their government and people back home are the ones to be in the best position to work on that.

They can not demand to be invited into someone else's community. That is socially parasitic behavior.

They will fail as this is not the way.

I wish them luck. They wont be crossing the border.

The armed forces can help the national guard.

During what I think were the LA riots, Marines escorted and helped police units.
