The Caravan is Coming

The caravan is down to about five hundred now. Two hundred of them are children.
Many of them are under a year old.
These folks will surrender at the border and request asylum here. They will be processed and allowed in. Nothing the troops are going to do. Or ICE. They will walk right in just as it's always been done.

That post is laughable. Truly.
They are coming to the border crossing and requesting asylum. They will be allowed in because that's our laws. Potus can't do a blasted thing.
This organization occurs every year to call attention of the conditions these folks are fleeing.
Most remain in mexico. Others continue on to our border.

They're not crawling in under cover of darkness out in the desert.

So the Caravan finally reached the boarder. It was a fairly uneventful event. I think they just let 8 women and children in the (gate) to interview/process to see if they were going to grant them assylum. the rest are camped out or chilling in the mexican side of the border.

No national guard. No riots. no mass attack on the "unsecured border". LOL

You guys crack me up. Everybody better now? No more night mares? NObody screaming for walls and national guard troops?

And yet...somehow the caravan could not cross our unsecured border with Mexico? Weird.

"Today the Mexican government is hunting migrants without sympathy, even though the exact same thing is happening to Mexicans at the U.S. border," he says. "The border security measures here in Chiapas are even harsher than on the U.S.-Mexico border."

Mexico's speedy deportations have raised concerns of advocacy groups like the Washington Office on Latin America that potential refugees are being sent home before they have chances to claim asylum or report crimes committed against them in Mexico.....

"We're putting up something worse than a wall, it's an invisible wall but it exists," he says. "The policies are made as if migrants are invading us, that they bring violence and crime. Instead of being welcoming, we're being discriminatory."
