He also missed that the NRA was the FIRST civil rights organization to make sure newly freed slaves had arms.

I know some guys, not personally, that were big on the second amendment before the black panthers.

The "New Negroes" of the 1920s. Some of those guys, not all, but some actually mounted light machine and guns on their trucks and where shooting to kill white mobs there were prying on black folks. Some also got murdered in cold blood in their uniforms too but I digress.

In the 20s, the New Negros where big on the second amendment. Bigly.
