Well That Sucks! (FF7)

Just spent the last 7 hours grinding xp and ap in the Northern Cavern only to have the breaker in my room trip and lose all of it.

They need to make a freaking save point so you don't have to climb all the way out every time....

This sucks.

That's a low feeling for a gamer, especially rpg players. Yesterday a powerful lighting storm hit my town. It fried my stereo receiver. Until i buy a new one, i have to game through factory TV speakers

I need a new mouse.

Apparently mouses can fly, mine did.

Now I'm using a wired backup one.

I think save fails hurt the worst in Diablo though.

FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS !!!!

lmao, try not being able to play anything on an old pentium G870 dual core, with only 6gb ram, and a failing 1tb drive that lost all my media recently, with no dedicated gpu just onboard intel bottom of the bottom graphics, tiny usb speakers, a mouse with no battery cover, no mouse pad just the arm of my chair, and a keyboard with sticky keys in a room lit only by a salt lamp, with an old celeron laptop sitting on a bench streaming free to air tv, on a hot day with only a water cooler, with no water, and a window open to let flies in en masse.

I can still play cod4 at 640x480 and less than 100fps. so all is not lost.

such is life.

It was my first RPG. Has a special place in me 'art as well.


Just be glad you didn't go through the whole Kalm sequence and forget to save afterwards...like some dummy I know....who will remain nameless....

It's definitely PS4 with a probable PC port a few months down the line like Final Fantasy XV was.


It's being split into 3 episodes, so will most probably have the first title on PS4 then the next two on PS5.

I am going to buy a PS4 as soon as FF7R comes out, just for FF7R.

Final Fantasy 7 is an amazing game, of the old school.

That comes with certain difficulties, the location of save points being one of them. Personally, I prefer it to the sort of game which permits saving at all times. It increases the challenge involved, does not coddle the player.

It still is to this day my favorite game, I love the FF series, the only one I haven't played is 11.

But Final Fantasy 7 was just absolutely breathtaking for it's time and the nostalgia never really runs out.

It's either FF7 or Legend of the Dragoon, which is a very underappreciated JRPG which also deserves a remake but will never happen.

I'm at the end stage, I can go back and save, I just didn't expect a shotty breaker to trip.

The FF7 remake looks amazing though.

Everyone has their specific final fantasy, but we all have FF7
