No the hackers used "hot spot shield" and put their real names on the subscription.

They got the pro version of course. You cant hack the government without "Hotspot shield" pro version. The free one doesnt automatically tick the "hide my IP" option.

Well, if Clinton and the DNC would let the authorities check her/their servers instead of allowing a 3rd party and denying federal law enforcement then I'd be more inclined to believe it.

I do not believe that Russia isn't trying to hack into everything US related, ofcourse they are, so are NK, China and many other foreign governments, and honestly, the US are doing the same back to them, if you think Russia is the only country trying to gain control over the information highway you are purely mistaken.

I honestly cannot remember what Guccifer emails contained, I know that a certain part of the "DNC" hack was attributed to Cozy/Fancy bear which are known to be "GRU" operatives.

I didn't know that the IP address from Guccifer that was found was linked to a GRU facility, so that's some ignorance on my part, I just thought it had pinged somewhere in Russia and that's what they were using as evidence.

Vladimir Putin is definitely not innocent in any sense of the word, however with the rhetoric ramping up and Putin being blamed for sneezing nowadays it's quite easy to get skeptical about his involvement.

Especially when CIA's weapons vault was leaked and there's tools which can attribute IP addresses to foreign governments and pass the blame on, it doesn't have to be another member state doing that, any individual could have gotten access to those tools, the internet is a sketchy place.

I can definitely believe Putin wants to look strong on the world stage and all these accusations against him make him look more powerful than he actually is.

I'm fine. I'm not the one who can't decide if Trump is a criminal mastermind, or dumb as a box of rocks.
