If she felt so strongly about Trump she never should have signed the NDA and taken the settlement.
What NDA? I think you are confusing cases. This is not Stormy Daniels.

This is Summer Zervos, who is suing Trump for defamation. He called her a liar for alleging sexual harassment by him, he now has to prove that she is one. In court. With discovery and stuff. Or, he could try to settle.

Sort of funny. Didn't Trump want to "open up" libel law to make it easier to sue people for lying about people.

Yeah. Apparently Zervos is suing for an apology and $2,914.

She can sue me too then.

She's an airhead. Nothing but a sleeve.

Don't think Trump will care. This is such a minor issue -with all else that is cooking - that this will go to the very bottom of the dustbin of history.

I wish I could take everyone that said bad things to me to court - but even I have better things to do with my time.

Indeed. Another shiny object for haters to stare at...until the next shiny object comes along. Perfect distraction for people who are easily distracted from learning how to WIN.

In the US, every president is accused of sexual harassment. Is it so?

But Trump is president... he MAKES the law. Why should he have to pay fines or whatever?

Ask Bill Clinton.

and who "deemed" him to not above the law.

who has authority to make this decision?

What evidence exists that supports this conclusion?

is this same authority also going to "deem" trump guilty or innocent?

First of all, this is a New York state judge. He has no jurisdiction over a sitting US President. Therefore this is just more of the same old "get Trump!" movement we have seen for almost two years now, and so far as that goes, a pitiful excuse for activism at best. It is telling in the fact that those pressing so hard for something, anything to get Donald Trump ion trouble can't even get this decision from a Federal judge this time. I suppose the shelves in the "Judges R Us" store are getting pretty bare.

So let me understand this: If I accuse someone of a crime, it is my burden to prove them guilty... unless they say they are not guilty (meaning I would be a liar), at which time they now have the burden of proof to show their innocence?

Sorry, Phage, but that makes absolutely zero logical sense.

So he has to go to court and prove she was lying?

Isn't the burden of proof on her?

And what's stopping him from suing her for defamation? She says he's lying. Do they then keep suing each other into eternity?

Its common practice if someone is being sued for defamation they also file a suit. Then what happens is when the judge gives their decision they must decide on both charges. There first hurdle is to get the case moved out if California. Its no coincidence she filed there, and he needs to have it moved to federal court. Once he has done that it is very likely the judge will throw out the lawsuit.

To prove defamation she would have to prove he said something that damaged her reputation. But i think it be easy to show that they made money because Trump argued with them. Anyone he mentions on twitter is suddenly paid huge sums of money to give interview's. Heck im tying to figure out how to get Trump to tweet about me.
