I live in Romania [as many already know]. I hope you're wrong with what you said [i don't own a TV nor read the news daily because they're full of lies,i have no idea what to believe anymore].

However, my fear is that at least western europe is slowly being conquered by the middle east
and my even bigger fear is that i'd be forced to convert [while i think islam may be a beautful religion with beautiful ideals, the extremists give it a bad rap, and i prefer believing in Jesus and G-D]

If this doesn't happen, yea there are countries that will end more or less with a socialist type of economy, the EU will fall apart [i don't think we're meant to be a big country like the USA, simply because we have too many languages that are too different, and too many cultures that live better on their own rather than put in a melting pot]

Maybe some of that, but misuse will be inevitable.

British police forces arrested at least nine people a day for “offensive” online comments

Figures obtained by The Times through the Freedom of Information Act reveal that 3,395 people across 29 forces were arrested last under section 127 of the Communications Act 2003, which makes it illegal to intentionally “cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another”, in 2016. The true figure is likely to be significantly higher, as thirteen police forces refused to provide the requested information and two did not provide usable data.
