Did it ever occur to the OPer that she is doing this to maintain contact with him? This is what it sounds like to me after being in that situation twice before over concert tickets and luggage.

As for what to do, I'd say restraining order and specifically site your fear that she will take the dog. That would damage any case she could file against you.
