An extraordinary number of former intelligence and military operatives from the CIA, Pentagon, National Security Council and State Department are seeking nomination as Democratic candidates for Congress in the 2018 midterm elections. The potential influx of military-intelligence personnel into the legislature has no precedent in US political history.

My Take:

This pretty much sums up for me the democrats outright admission to election tampering and rigging. Now they will be flush with individuals highly trained in subversion and disinformation. They are the company they keep.

It also fortells of difficulties on the horizon for Trump's long term agenda. The hard left has been beat at every single turn in their attempts to subvert a duly elected POTUS by rigging the election primaries, supplant disinformation everywhere, falsify court documents, lie to FISA courts, create mythical people, politicize children, import votes via illegal immigrants, illegally rule against federal laws, and the list goes on.

This is yet another attempt to supplant operatives hell bent on carrying the torch of the extreme left to enslave the American public even more than we already are.

The final category of military-intelligence candidates consists of veterans of the US State Department during the Obama years, most of them former aides to Hillary Clinton. These are among the best financed and most publicized of the likely Democratic nominees. In the event of a Democratic “wave” in November, most would find themselves with seats in Congress.

Great point. You can't take CIA and military operatives and have them come in and pretend to be politicians overnight and expect to win votes. Let's face it, being a politician takes a level of charm and charisma necessary in order to be successful.

But why worry about winning votes when you can run disinformation campaigns from day 1 and subvert election process and procedure?

Not surprising that both parties have made this a practice over the years.

What might be surprising to some here is that the link is not a conservative website. it is a Socialist website.

So if the democratic party is made up of far left socialists, why is it that far left socialists are bringing this news to our attention?

CIA types and military are usually conservative in their politics. What would be the impetus for joining the Dembs. And what would be the purpose.

That other poster made an errant statement inferring the WSWS was some hack website as a means to discredit the information and I pointed to the fact they have a benefactor in the ICFI who has a very long and storied history in the promotion of world socialist movement.

"CIA and military types" is too general a statement. Think bigger picture. Rank and file CIA and military are VERY different from their leadership.

James Comey is a registered republican and look at what a snake in the grass he turned out to be.

I did and I also read about the history of the site and looked at the content on the website. I am not saying the story is false but. I find very interesting. But I can see why someone who firmly hates socialist views would want another source.
