constant lag?

I know this has been mentioned before, but is it still an issue?

I can hit a star on a post, it just wont star.
I hit quote, and it can take up to a minute for the text to appear.
I hit the next page button ( 2 3 or 4 wish there was a next page thing and not just a last page) and it takes forever.
I hit reply, and it again takes 2-3 minutes to get past the swirly message.

Then at other times, everything is instant.

It's like ATS is being DDoSSed over and over? I'd take one day over every time.

wondering is it me? I really dont know. no where else does it.

Some cloudflare thing?? They may as well be a legit form of attack if you ask me.

Is ATS laggy like this for anyone else?

been having the same issue with starring a post. Star won't appear but when I refresh the page it's there...

Also takes forever sometimes to refresh a page..

No such issues here with anything.. Somewhere in your settings... Open windows, etc.

also laggy. giltchy and weird. especially on certain "spicy" threads

That's what I thought too, perhaps too many things happening at once on some threads, making the dartabses blow up.

Annoying AF though.. I never hit reply twice though, usually one of my replies is enough, who wants to see a DP!!



but yeah, not just me then.. starring is the biggest thing, I don't want to hit refresh to see if my like of a post was noted..

no biggie, I open things in new tabs anyway, so I just go back to the new thread page and check later.. is a bit annoying though, when you want to read more and replying eats away like that..

Bookmarks and Favs open too can cause lagging...

I've noticed this as well. It's identical to a misconfiguration issue I was experiencing on a server I inherited and turned out to be caused by a misconfiguration with nginx workers and pool settings.

I used to notice it on my tablet (when I had one) a few years ago.. crap 8 years now... but it's definitely worse now on the ol' computator..

and it's not open tabs, or bookmarks or other things. it's reminiscent of when you'd hit reply and get a white screen. back in the ol' days of the dreaded ddos attacks.

Wont be joining any facebook groups if it keep happening. Last time I did that, I ruined everyones lives.

I have had issues with that on ATS, but not normally. My main issue is when I post a response and it posts like 4 or 5 times. I used to fix it, but I have given up, its too frustrating.


Oh and then, people who don't agree with what I post, make it seem like I did it on porpoise.
