We could, at our finest, when emotionally charged and motivated, activate the absolute power of the US War Machine to such a degree that NK would cease to exist and no ally of theirs would be willingly to endure such wrath and fury either.

We have to take this leap and see where we land.

Once they have a credible deterrent we won't do anything. That's where they're trying to get. Pretty much all the analysts say they're right there. This is their last play to stall us from hitting them before they reach the finish line.

TPTB won't accept a nuclear armed NK.

This is why we must take this leap and see where we land.

Even if such plans were laid out, perhaps the meeting, in itself, will prove pivotal. Something that could appeal. Whatever the case, we have to accept this as our best shot of working something out.

Umm no...the PTB have already ensured they ARE nuclear...it is someone else putting a crimp on TPTB plans and will continue to strangle them out.

Noone cares about war anymore..the stragglers are being either left behind or just flat out changing...

Exactly. Trump is an idiot for meeting with Kim; it elevates Kim to the level of "world leader." The photographs of them together will make great propaganda. Then they will sit down and Kim will say: "We must demilitarize the entire peninsula. First, withdraw all American troops and we can talk." That ends that. They have done exactly this before, as Trump would know if he followed real news.

Ironically, Trump probably thinks this will play well domestically. Instead, the clear eyed will point out that he has met privately with Putin, talked face to face with Kim Jung Un, met with the disgraced right wing Prime Minister of Israel, praised Erdogan and Dutarte, but has yet to meet with Teresa May.

it was only a matter of time before NK had to do this , or be crushed under economic sanctions or be crushed under the boot of a foreign military power. The best thing to do is make a peace agreement .
