Since we don’t have herds of wild elephants roaming the United States it should be the duty of countries that actually HAVE elephants to regulate their hunting and import...not the US. I agree that restrictions on imports are stupid. If hunting is allowed in other countries then that is up to them and not for our Government to dictate.

Yeah , I dont think so bud, I spent my entire youth in the Pacific northwest hunting elk, moose, bear , and deer with the occasional Lion on a tag. I still have a cabin I built myself old style, with my father many moons ago, I go to every season on the Washington Idaho border. Right on a beautiful lake. The area full of things that could potntially tear you apart, trust me they are not unarmed.

But yeah, youre a better woodsman

From just the things youve said you prove you have no idea what youre talking about, youre just arm-chairing it.

You are still assuming you know me. And want me to explain in depth my wilderness interest. But I can't. Again continue to assume city dwellers don't enjoy the forest. Or nature...

I am a carpenter.

I basically am surrounded by forest. And do spend time in them day and sometimes night. Not hunting helpless animals however.

youre the one who assumed you had more experience not me, that would make YOU the one who assumed.

And want me to explain in depth my wilderness interest

So you make an accusation that you have more experience, but you cant elaborate? Thats odd.

Again continue to assume city dwellers don't enjoy the forest.

yeah because you assumed the wild cant defend itself, which again you are woefully wrong, and as above refuse to Prove the statement you were more qualified than me.

Freaking armchair posters, I swear

The wild cannot defend itself from guns? And sports hunters shooting them?

Sad story. The irony is it would not of happened if he was not out there to kill the animals.

Sadly people don't care, maybe TV shows have desensitized them, I'm not sure what has but it's an epidemic that's for sure.

The ban had nothing to do with other countries hunting regulations, it was about trophy hunters bringing their trophies home..but I'm sure you knew that.

Heartwarming story
I hope for the same to every trophy hunter..if that makes me a bad person..oh well.

Hunting deer to put meat on the table is fine with me.

I guess when you can acknowledge the animal within you can respect animal life more including the human animal hopenotfeariswhatweneed.

It's odd observing the animal instincts still within humanity yet some humans pride themselves high above other Creations or animals as if not also animal.
I try to relay the data or message but ego overrides some and they ignore. Until it's too late.
In my outtabox mind states I feel if humans want respect from the universe which too may be found to be animalistic then humanity must learn to respect wildlife more.
Otherwise the animalistic universe may not respect humanity for treating animals the way they are treated.
And further may mimic or mirror activities carried out by some humans associated with sports hunting.
Georgia Guidstones comes to mind.
