The Swamp Has Won

The problem is the system itself.

You can get rid of millions of people but you'll always run into the same situations.

I wish y'all could think out of the box.

I made a glib comment a page or so back about Trump's methodology of hiring 'The Swamp' as a way of draining it. And then today lo and behold a report analyzing Trump's alleged 'swamp-draining'. The authors state:

When the Trump administration took office early last year, hundreds of staffers from lobbying firms, conservative think tanks and Trump campaign groups began pouring into the very agencies they once lobbied or whose work they once opposed.

They compiled a searchable database of almost 2,500 appointees through FOIA requests. Makes for interesting reading (although not at all surprising to some of us).
