Will the US turn into a full blown dictatorship in the near future?

While I am aware at this point it is impossible because the people will not accept a dictatorship, thing is it might change over the coming decade.

Ever since the passage of the Patriot Act, we are gradually losing our rights bit by bit.

In addition, we now have people calling for the shut down of free speech because of feelings which is disturbing because in the past, it would have been laughable. I gotta admit, ever since the rise of the SJW movements, they crossed a very dangerous line with the use of Antifa Stormtroopers to silence conservative speakers.

I wonder what other freedoms we will lose next?

It seems like we are being programmed to slowly accept tyranny and lose faith on US values.

I wonder how long will it takes before the people finally think a dictatorship is a very good idea?

As the saying goes "Death by a thousand paper cuts"

I don't think it will become a dictatorship, but more and more rights will get taken away right from under people's noses. Freedom of speech has always been something people believe they have. It's never existed. As each year goes by you can say less and less. Little changes of laws here and there go unnoticed until it's too late to change anything.

The media point you one way, while the government change the way things are happening the other.

Since the Two Party's are controlled, and work together as one with the controlled MSM to control the elections and spoon feed us Establishment candidates, while perpetually working against We The Little People, it already is a De Facto Dictatorship and has been for a long time. One hell bent on global military domination, no less.

Caveats like Group Identity Stormtroopers running around like nazi germany method, or "president for life" 'proper' dictators at the helm, that just rubs it in your face. Then again so does police state Stormtroopers (who rub their boots in your pepper sprayed face), over arching penal systems, and so on (which are already the accepted norm).

But don't think it's possible there will be a rise of an American Hitler?

The book "It Can't Happen Here" actually explored this concept.

All it takes is for a man who pretends to be an alternative to Democrats and Republicans to offer "promises." Look at how many people fell for Trump.

I would like to think not but anything is possible. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes. Power to the president I would imagine is monitored to a certain degree. If he gets too big for his boots, he'll get an earbashing by someone higher than him or from his party.
The people of America also wouldn't let anything close to what Hitler did happen.

Out of curiosity, what exactly is it your claiming you can't say?

When the tool in the White House is saying worry about due process later it makes me feel like I live in a true democratic republic.

Hence I said in the thread "for now."

Just wait a few decades and people might change their tune.

Actually let me tell you an interesting fact, part of the reason why Hitler came to power is because he managed to get the support of the Shadow government of the Weimar Republic (Which were former military officers who wanted to restore Germany to it former glory after losing WW1). Hitler promise them to do it in exchange for their support. When Hitler came to power, he fulfilled their promises by expanding the military (Germany's military has been gutted after WW1 to the point where it can only have 100,000 troops in its army), re arming Germany and ultimately invading and conquering nations.

Until President Trump started draining the swamp, America was a full-blown dictatorship for decades. Think about it.

Only about 15% of the Swamp has been drained however. Americans aren't free yet, but we're getting there!

A dictatorship requires cohesion.

People cannot even agree over coca cola or pepsi.

It will never be a dictatorship.

Predicting the future are we?

We got about as close to a dictatorship under the last administration as we will probably ever get, especially into the second term. So, no not in the near future.

In the not too distant future I predict a massive shift to the extreme left in this country in all branches of government, literally leading to the destruction of this country.

But, I could be wrong.

If we do not break the 2 party (that are really the same) stranglehold on DC I think it is inevitable.

We have people demanding congress decide which rights are still relevant in our country, people in power usually want to stay in power so the longer they stay the more likely we end up as serfs.

As long as the 2nd Amendment is protected there won't be a dictator in America. A dictator in the United States would be disasterous for the whole world.

There are two polar SJW crowds that exist. The first are the kind of people you see at the rallies who truly believe in their ideals. They are fighting against social inequality.

The second are the elite leaders who exploit the first group in order to remove freedoms and make people dependent on the government. Their plan is the death of freedom by thousand cuts is the method chosen because a dictatorship would never be accepted here.

Trump probably has dreams of being King of Earth but after his second term he will be out, I would bet my life on it.

Could you imagine the power vacuum of a dictatorship? Repubs and Dems would be history and we would be ran by a federation of militias all trying to become the top dog.

Look at how many people fell for Trump.

The only thing people have fallen for is an elaborate psy-op...

Thus kulture is contrived. How do we know what we know? We are taught by the mass media and the education system. But what if they were subverted by a satanic secret society, i.e. the Illuminati? The mass media and education system promote this suspension of reality. Truth is suppressed. Lies are promulgated. Negative or self-destructive behavior is portrayed in a positive light.

How the Illuminati Control Culture

...historians, educators and journalists collaborate by upholding a false reality and distracting us from the truth. Our world, our perception of the human experience, are shaped by an occult secret society. Our culture is an elaborate psy-op.

The Satanic Cult That Rules the World

...mainstream schools and media are conduits for historical lies. It also suggests that they are a medium for social conditioning, also known as mind-control. Professor Sutton observed, "The existing system of education is little more than a conditioning mechanism. It has little to do with education in the true sense, and a lot to do with control of the individual. This requires suppression of individualist tenancies and a careful spoon-feeding of approved knowledge."

Professor Marrs declared, "Few of us are aware that such techniques are being utilized against us since we're constantly being led to believe ... that we are independent, resourceful, intelligent, and fully able to make up our own minds." Many of us have operated most of our lives on a filtered version of history. Or, in essence, lies.

I'm not one for talking "tough", but let them try. LET THEM TRY. They would be in for a fight they never imagined possible.

And I would be wearing more than a pussy hat.

(See? I can be just as tough as the next guy when you threatened my freedom.)
