Ante might be Q though, possibly just here to keep the hope porn alive and kicking! Wait? Why is my tinfoil head not a hat anymore?

The thing that kills me about Q is how contrived it is. Why would Q speak in stupid cryptic riddles? It makes absolutely no sense. And why would this supposed insider whistle blower choose to deliver his message on effing 4chan? It's just absurd on its face.

Hypothetical question: If you were a whistleblower or government insider leaking information, where would you post it?

People (I'm speaking of real people, now) have had tremendous success in the past with simply mailing a copy of things to the NYTimes, WaPo, and the Wall Street Journal. If you picked 3 or 4 random papers like that and send each a copy, orrrr, called Sean Hannity, I'm pretty sure you'd have plenty of success. You could even do it anonymously, really mysterious-like, and simply put a fake return address on it!

I know, I know, it's subtle, but you COULD do it.

However, if you weren't a government whistleblower, if you were just some guy who wanted to f with people, you could pretend you're some modern day "Assange" (like real modern, as in free) and "post" cryptic stuff like Nostradamus, you could have hours and hours of fun plus a doctoral dissertation in the future about Alt-Right conspiratorial thinking.

Has "Q" explained why Trump is terrified of the Russians yet? I DO hope that after all this work he does get around to it.

Meanwhile, given that Trump kept appointing people mobbed -up with Russians, and given that Trump-chan is mobbed-up with Russians, and given that Russia did MORE than enough to help Trump, I'm going to simply go with Ole' Occam here and believe that Mueller is actually investigating Trump's ties to Russia and that those ties are indeed deep.

I'm going to go out on a limb (no, not really) and reaffirm my earlier predictions that there will in fact be charges brought by the Mueller team in regards to the Russian hacking/phishing of the DNC/DCCC/Podesta.

lol...of course there are going to be charges by Mueller. Otherwise his entire sham "investigation" will be for naught. You love to classify yourself as someone with deep insight yet you can't even name exactly who Mueller is going to bring charges against. If your powers of precognition are so attuned then please enlighten everyone here and name names.

P.S. Stop being so butt hurt you're not as clever as Q.

Here's an article from today that says Seth Rich's parents confirm that their son was the leaker.

According to Ed Butowsky, an acquaintance of the family, in his discussions with Joel and Mary Rich, they confirmed that their son transmitted the DNC emails to Wikileaks.

This is a terrible op-ed full of debunked would be facts. This was written by a admiral who once commanded the US Pacific Fleet? Yiiiikes.

This is how he describes Ed Butowsky:

According to Ed Butowsky, an acquaintance of the family

Well no. Ed Butowsky is a friend of Steve Bannon's. Though he's from Dallas Texas, he's on the board of Reclaim New York. Other Reclaim New York officers:

Steve Bannon - Vice Chairman (until he joined the Trump campaign at least)
Rebekah Mercer - Treasurer
Jennifer Mercer - Secretary

Rebekah and Jennifer are the daughters of Robert Mercer, Trump's single biggest supporter (aside from Trump). Mercer is of course the money behind Breitbart News, GAI, etc. And according to a statement Mercer put out where he also disavowed Milo Yiannapoulos, he stated he was giving Rebekah (who was also on the Trump transition team's Executive Committee) his shares in Breitbart. Did I mention that Butowsky has been published in Breitbart?

It also appears that Butowsky is a liar who was busted lying about having met with Sean Spicer to discuss the investigation he (Butowsky) was funding. Not only did he lie about but initially, Sean Spicer lied.

Sean Spicer claimed to be unaware of Seth Rich story after meeting with donor who pushed it

Outgoing White House communications director Sean Spicer has admitted meeting with a Republican donor who shopped a conspiracy-soaked story about a dead staffer at the Democratic National Committee, despite telling reporters that he was unaware of the story when Fox News ran several segments about it.

Now hopefully you'll recall the whole Rod Wheeler/Fox News fiasco? If not, here's a thread about it:

Seth Rich Would Be Bombshell Fizzles - Wheeler Walks Back False Claims

Now as I was saying, some of what the op-ed contains has already been debunked, in fact, the meat of it appears to be a regurgitation of the talking points from the retracted Fox News story that became the subject of a lawsuit. I'll excerpt the op-ed and then excerpt my thread (which has the links to sources — it's late and I'm feeling lazy):

False claim:

This has all the earmarks of a targeted hit job. However, strangely no one has been charged with this horrific crime, and what is more intriguing is that no law enforcement agency is even investigating this murder. According to other open sources, Metro police were told by their “higher ups” that if they spoke about the case, they will be immediately terminated. It has been claimed that this order came down from very high up the “food chain,” well beyond the D.C. mayor’s office. Interesting.

This originates with something Rod Wheeler said in the #show interview with Fox 5 DC.

"I have a source inside the police department that has looked at me straight in the eye and said, ‘Rod, we were told to stand down on this case and I can’t share any information with you,’" he told Fox 5.

"Now, that is highly unusual for a murder investigation, especially from a police department. Again, I don’t think it comes from the chief’s office, but I do believe there is a correlation between the mayor's office and the DNC."

Way back in May, as part of their vetting which led to the retraction basically the very next day, the local Fox affiliate contacted the DC police:

FOX 5's Melanie Alnwick spoke with D.C. Police on Tuesday and was told that Wheeler’s assertion that a source inside the department told him that detectives were instructed to stand down regarding the Rich case was false.

Making matters worse, Wheeler ended up admitting that most everything he'd said was actually information that had been fed to him by Maria Zimmerman (who hasn't had a Fox News story published since August of 2017 btw). In other words, he flat lied to the Fox local affiliate saying that he'd seen and heard things that actually came from Zimmerman, who was preparing the story for Fox News — which was also retracted. Zimmerman as it turns out was in touch with Butowsky (who has been a guest on Fox News a number of times as has Wheeler) and if Wheeler is to be believed, they basically played him to hype up Zimmerman's story by having him lie on camera and claim that he was the source of the information.

Another claim from the op-ed that comes directly from this Wheeler/Zimmerman/Butowsky debacle:

Another aspect that needs to be uncovered is the FBI’s “denial” that its cyber experts who share space with the D.C. Metro police department at Cleveland Avenue in the District, assisted in accessing data on Mr. Rich’s laptop. Not likely. Data on the laptop revealed that Mr. Rich downloaded thousands of DNC emails and was in touch with Wikileaks. The file with evidence of what was on Mr. Rich’s laptop sits with the FBI in a co-shared space with the D.C. police department.

From the debunking:

The report, which cited an unnamed federal investigator, said that an FBI report on Rich’s laptop revealed he had transferred 44,000 DNC emails to WikiLeaks.

FOX 5 DC originally said Monday night that private investigator Rod Wheeler knew of a connection between Rich and WikiLeaks. On Tuesday, Fox News published an extended report that seemed to corroborate Wheeler’s claims with the information from the anonymous federal investigator.

“I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” the federal investigator told Fox News, alleging that the FBI had done a report on Rich’s laptop within 96 hours after the murder.

The referenced report is the retracted Zimmerman story. Here's what Wheeler ended up saying:

But Tuesday afternoon, Wheeler told CNN he had no evidence to suggest Rich had contacted Wikileaks before his death.

Wheeler instead said he only learned about the possible existence of such evidence through the reporter he spoke to for the FoxNews.com story. He explained that the comments he made to WTTG-TV were intended to simply preview Fox News' Tuesday story. The WTTG-TV news director did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

"I only got that [information] from the reporter at Fox News," Wheeler told CNN.

Asked about a quote attributed to him in the Fox News story in which he said his "investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and Wikileaks," Wheeler said he was referring to information that had already been reported in the media.

And of course, there was no such reporting in the media. At any rate, they're a gaggle of liars. The fact that the author of the op-ed is repeating this bull# as being credible information paints him as a complete clown. I don't know if he's just sloppy or he's so driven by bias that he's willing to be deceitful.

Oh and this appears to be a coordinated effort by Burtowsky and associates to revive this bull#. I'll bet Fox News won't touch it with a 10 foot pole this time around but The Gateway Pundit has never met a steaming pile of bull# it wasn't more than happy to foist on unsuspecting suckers.

TGP -
Exclusive=> Insider Ed Butowsky: Seth Rich’s Father Confirmed His Son Was the Wikileaks Leaker

Speaking to Butowsky by phone on Thursday evening, he told the Gateway Pundit that during a conversation with Joel Rich on December 17, 2016 at 3:17 p.m., the father stated “we know what our sons did, but we just want to find Seth’s killer.

The quote, assuming it's legit, doesn't back up the claims. Now TGP is hoping that nobody is paying attention apparently because this:

Interestingly, a new report published on Thursday evening by the Washington Times also confirms that Rich had downloaded thousands of DNC emails.

That's followed by an excerpt from the op-ed you linked. It's proffered as confirmation of Butowsky's claims but the reality is (as I've just discussed), the op-ed is simply regurgitating the claims that originated from Butowsky/Zimmerman/Wheeler.

Anyway, I hate getting mired in nonsense that has already been discredited/debunked but if you look into it some more, it seems that the biggest part of the claim actually comes from bull# Sy Hersh was talking about something he got from an FBI source. Butowsky then shared that with Zimmerman and presto, her story has an FBI source who ultimately became the "FBI source" for Wheeler when he was lying his ass off on camera, repeating crap that he'd been told by Zimmerman. Quite an ugly mess.

Quick honest question for you. Do you feel like it's better knowing the level of corruption that was revealed through the release of those e-mails, or would you prefer that everyone remain blissfully ignorant of that?

That would be awesome!

Maybe Putin will send one of his nuke powered missiles though Mueller's bathroom window?

This is what you put out when you're tired and feeling lazy....
You must be a powerhouse when you're well rested and raring to go!
I do appreciate the research you do. Rachel Maddow could use you on her research team. They're amazing too.
I really thought Seth Rich was laid to rest figuratively and literally.

There are real questions from other experts whether it was Russia. It seems like a witch hunt and propaganda to me.

Also the elephant in the room is that the emails revealed shady approaches to the election, including dem strategies to buttress up "pied piper candidates" with Trump listed explicitly..

I for one am glad they got released.

Now now, let's be clear. The charge is that Trump and his campaign colluded with the Russians. If indictments are brought against Russians for hacking then:
1) Let's see the evidence, which the IC never produced.
2) Let's see the evidence the Russian GOVT were involved, with indictments and details against Putin or members of his circle.

Even if 1 and/or 2 happen, who cares? Hacking govt. and political parties is nothing new. See China example of hacking into the USD Govt personnel records.

For Democrats to remove the egg from their faces, they will need Trump and his campaign team to be indicted for helping the Russian govt or foreign agents hack the DNC and help with their campaign.

No, there are no longer "real questions" about whether it was Russia, thanks to the Dutch. Your article is old, from Aug 2017, and here is one from the same magazine (thank you for reading The Nation, I hope that the right will see how real journalism differs from the Fox-type, and that it does pay in the long run to stick with real journalists and not Sean Hannity), this is from 2 weeks ago. www.thenation.com...

This is just the DNC evidence, we're not even yet into the attack on states' voter databases, which is FAR more serious. How do we know that democratic voters in key states weren't kicked off the roles? Perhaps that's why many Republicans don't care. Many Republicans think American democrats are "the enemy" and Russian Republican sympathizers named "Putin" then must be their friend.

Maybe if you could use some of the critical thinking that gave you pause from not "automatically" believing the Russians hacked the DNC, use the same critical thinking to consider how you'd react if the Russians were hacking into databases and interferring with Republican candidates, possibly removing Republican votes, and a military cyber-command officer testified he wanted to do more, but couldn't because he hadn't been ordered to do more by the Democratic president who might benefit from those efforts, maybe you could see why your fellow Americans are so angry?

If Barrack Obama was supported by Russia, and all this evidence laid about showing the Russians were trying to suppress Republicans bc Barack Obama wouldn't enforce sanctions, you guys would be calling for armed insurrection. We know because many were near calling for armed insurrection over nothing but the fact that Obama was a democrat.

This is why we're so tired of the crap from Trump and his ilk. Trump has been exposed for all the world to see. He's a criminal, and thoroughly compromised by Russia, it's friggin' obvious. Putin sure knew what he was doing when he decided to cast his lot with Republicans, that Republicans would support him no matter what, even over other Americans.

Oh, and it takes one hell of a lot of gall to complain about "shady" Democratic practices. Enforce the laws before you complain about "shady practices"

It's worth noting, Kim DotCom has directly claimed that Seth Rich leaked the files. Kim says he knows this because he helped Rich pass the files on to Wikileaks!

According to Kim, he's twice tried to tell Muller the story, but Muller keeps blowing him off. Incidentally, Kim is German-Finnish, and lives in New Zealand. He is not an American citizen.

A group of former US intelligence officials contend that the hack of the Democratic National Committee’s computers in 2016 was an inside job. The group, which calls itself the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, or VIPS, said there was an insider leak that occurred thanks to someone with access to a DNC computer.

Their arguments were first reported by the left-wing magazine The Nation, which said that the group claimed to have forensic evidence to back up its contentions. The handful of ex-CIA and NSA officials also argued there was no evidence that a Romanian hacker identified as Guccifer 2.0 broke into the DNC system and passed embarrassing information about Hillary Clinton to WikiLeaks at the behest of the Russians.

They said the evidence suggests that Guccifer was invented to distract attention from the revelations, and that someone altered Guccifer’s documents to make them look as if they were Russian.

nypost.com...

CIA DIRECTOR MIKE Pompeo met late last month with a former U.S. intelligence official who has become an advocate for a disputed theory that the theft of the Democratic National Committee’s emails during the 2016 presidential campaign was an inside job, rather than a hack by Russian intelligence.

Pompeo met on October 24 with William Binney, a former National Security Agency official-turned-whistleblower who co-authored an analysis published by a group of former intelligence officials that challenges the U.S. intelligence community’s official assessment that Russian intelligence was behind last year’s theft of data from DNC computers. Binney and the other former officials argue that the DNC data was “leaked,” not hacked, “by a person with physical access” to the DNC’s computer system.

“I was willing to meet Pompeo simply because it was clear to me the intelligence community wasn’t being honest here,” Binney said, referring to their assessment of the DNC email theft. “I am quite willing to help people who need the truth to find the truth and not simply have deceptive statements from the intelligence community.”

What's the evidence they hacked the emails in question? Did the Dutch prove that? If I'm not incorrect, they saw evidence of general Russian hacking, which all nations do. Use your critical thinking and not extrapolate it to the DNC emails just because CNN and the DNC told you that... I'm still skeptical. Also Assange who released it said it wasn't the Russians. You would think that the very person who released them would know. Furthermore, DHS said there is no evidence that Russia "hacked the election." Also, to date I have seen little evidence of "collusion" by Trump. I'm a liberal, and I'm still waiting. Questioning the narrative is not being pro trump. Finally, my view is that this is one huge cynical political strategy by the DNC and complicit media to deflect from Clinton's loss. I think that you have fallen victim to convenient propaganda.
