Review.....Annihilation

Yep, another one where the trailer was better than the movie. But it wasn't a complete waste of time, it was visually beautiful, the script was ok, but essentially it was a formula horror story camouflaged by sifi backdrops and contrived scientific esoterica. Cute girls walking along, scary music, monster. N. Portmans character was interesting and well acted, Jennifer Jason Leigh was great in her role.
It had such potential but bogged down into goofy shock value gags and left you going....whaaa?

Can you explain the ending to me? Cause I was like WTF is going on?
