Well, we could use the current map of declination, but I was wondering if you watched the video , and if you did, what were your thoughts.

Sorry. Must have burned out on stupid Nibiru/HAARP/Chemtrail/Moon upsidedown/2012/Giant spaceships near the Sun threads.
Denying ignorance becomes a chore.

I have found that alot of my sources have been shutdown. I know why now.
Things quit updating after 2012 for some reason.
If anyone can find the current location of magnetic north, please share.

The last time the location of the north dip pole was observed was in 2007.
The north geomagnetic pole cannot be observed but it can be calculated.

...Is it me, or are the poles going independently of each other? I'd figure if N is going x direction, South would at least be going in a general opposite direction, like a bar magnet. This looks like there's 4 poles, and they're drunk.
I was pretty clear in my statement and I didn't address the entire video, nor will I make a point-by-point assessment of the entire thing, but I can add some comments.

So are you saying the whole video is false, or just parts of it.
Clarify your statement.
He says he uses data from NASA. If you're saying that NASA is more focused on science and not so much entertainment, while Ben Davidson takes the same data and turns it into something more entertaining, that could well be true. I suppose we have to decide if we want good science or good entertainment.

It's also far more entertaining than the dogmatic responses of those unwilling to offer alternative theories and explanation.

He talks about these risks of our "sheilds"[sic] "disappearing" and recommends prepping. I think prepping to some reasonable extent is good advice which I do myself to some extent even though the 3 shields he mentions in his video are the furthest thought from my mind in why I prep, it's more for other natural disasters. Having sufficient food and water on hand to survive a temporary collapse of infrastructure just seems prudent, and it's really not that hard to do if you keep it reasonable.
I think a repeat of the "carrington event" or solar storm of 1859 could disable our electric grids for some time and without electricity, electric pumps are not going to operate and some people may not have water available. That could happen regardless of the variation in earth's magnetic field. Of course a stronger field provides more protection than a weaker field but even in 1859 the Earth's field wasn't strong enough to avoid all the effects of the storm and we would be much more vulnerable now because now we have electric grids and depend on electricity.
The local galactic cloud and bubble he mentions does exist, since he says he gets his data from NASA and they talk about it. But telling people to prep for the "disappearance" of that seems a bit premature since various sources seem to say that we won't leave it until somewhere between 1000 to 10,000 years, from which I conclude that nobody living now will see us exit. So there may be other reasons to prep, but that's not a very good one.
For the "third shield", the sun's magnetic field, it too varies but his characterization of "disappearing" is inaccurate. It varies, but I don't think scientists expect it to disappear entirely.
So no doubt you can find nuggets of truth where he takes the data he got from NASA and presents that data as he got it, so in those segments you're getting the same data you'd get from NASA. It's what he does with the data he got that may not match up with NASA's assessment. Why anybody thinks this man knows more about how to interpret NASA's data than NASA does escapes me. If you're one of those people who thinks NASA lies about everything I guess that might be a possible motivation to look elsewhere for analysis, but if they really lied about everything, why is he using NASA's data?
So this selective filtering of using some things from NASA (data) but not others (analysis) seems logically inconsistent to me. I'm not saying NASA has all the answers, they certainly don't, but what I am saying is that I have more confidence in NASA's ability to analyze NASA's data, than in Ben Davidson's ability to analyze it.

We are in unchartered territory in modern society with the Sun's output diminishing and an increase in cosmic rays, was a fair statement.
The whole magnetic field-gaseous water clouds interaction has changed weather patterns and given us a clue as to the possible affects. They include weather, geological activity increases as some seem to be on the rise the last 10 years or so, and Solar output not being enough to keep us from dipping back into this Ice age.

OP, hope you did not hit "send" on your message to your soon to be NASA family member... if so, just take some of the finer points shared in this thread for a followup email and kind of laugh it off...
