Anyway it appears the crown jewel of trumps foreign policy failure will be dealing with the taliban as a the leaders of Afghanistan. Seems we have been down this road before and suffered the consequences.

Of course as can be expected the basket of deplorables will love this idea. Well as soon as thier handlers tell them how to think and what to say.

Should we just exterminate all the Taliban? Eventually all parties have to take part in talks unless we are going to have troops there forever. Options aren't good there.....never have been.

Afghanistan is not a great place, nor are the people in power there great either. Pakistan has played the US for almost 2 decades there.

What would your options be?

Let us not forget who provided funding for the creation of the Taliban... although Pakistan is responsible for their creation, the US funded the creation of the Talibna to the tune of $3 billion, and it's been further said that the US provided additional military advice and hardware to the group.

How does this have anything to do with Trump's failures? This is a sovereign nation that has the right legitimize whichever political party they deem appropriate in a quest for peace.

It is not the U.S.'s role to abolish a group of people, and we certainly cannot abolish ideology through war.

So, what would be your answer to this? What is the problem that Trump has caused?

The blame for where our war in Afghanistan currently finds itself is at the hands of Bush and Obama, for certain. But how is this a failure of Trump after being in office for barely over a year when Bush and Obama lead us to where we are over their collective15-1/2 years at the helm?

So, again, either back up your claim that this is all Trump's fault, or quit vomiting ideological half-truths and hyperbole in order to garner flags and stars.

It is my opinion that we should have left that country years ago and let it deal with their own warring tribes and factions on their own. We shouldn't even be in that country right now.
