Oh, I believe in a God, I just found myself asking the question, out of all of the flawed "words of God" that have been handed down from generation to generation, from cultures all around the world...
just why is it that I should believe that this one particular set should hold more weight..
that it should be accepted as being the world of God, and not just another version handed down by the various gods and goddesses that have risen and fallen throughout time?

And can’t develop outside the body for a considerable portion of its 9 months. But people don’t have the right to choose whether or not it will do so?

The question of bodily autonomy still hasn’t been answered, blood banks are often at or just above shortage. The human body literally regenerates blood at a rate that you can donate every 8 weeks if you’re donating whole blood. If we don’t care about bodily autonomy there is literally no reason not to take your blood every 2 months, regardless of your wishes.

You all are doing an exceptional job skirting around the issue of paying for 650,000 more American babies a year that people would otherwise abort. That adds up to millions very quickly, are they entitled to free housing, food and healthcare now? Just been watching the news .... People mainly many children being killed

in Syria!!


And here we have all these people (mainly men?) many of religion talking

about the murder/abortion of 'what is not already living.....

But they are alright about the killing (by men) of living children by nerve gas in

Syria ... and the rape of babies and children in Africa?

YES, weird alien god things are going to, probably even a few named Amy. Substance laws are going to slip away as the angry old folk die out, and by the time the majority of people have had transcendent psychedelic experiences they will be woo in just the right ways, and practical in just the right ways, and for the most part get along and get stuff done. but, if you noticed, my posts when it comes to the abortion issue mainly relate to those cases where the pregnancy would cause great enough problems that it interferes with the women's ability to maintain her responsibilities... one of which is the children that are already alive in the world and in her charge. and I still get these kinds of responses.

well, if they can't even meet me at this line in the sand, I don't see any reason to continue the discussion really. like you pointed out, men are free to drop their bombs on the children in villages around the world and kill thousands, for what?? rights to oil? fear of islam?? to show their superiority??? to protect "their way of life"???
well, women have that same right of self protection, to protect themselves, and those they care about. they cling to their guns and military, we cling to our abortion.... but, at the heart of it.... the motivations are the same..
and it's not like there is any honor left in motherhood. if the mother falls on hard times and finds herself needing help to feed those children, well, then she's a deadbeat who should get out there and get a job... never mind she probably wouldn't be able to pay the cost of the childcare with her paycheck. and, she can probably forget about ever getting a decent paycheck after she becomes a mother because her employers will see that kid as a reason to consider her less valuable in the workplace. and while they scream about how precious the little tyke in the tummy is, they don't care if that little tyke stays healthy till born, oh, no, maternity care shouldn't be included in your average health insurance policy, women should have to pay a little more if that want maternity care!!
they just want the babies, because they finally learned that they need the babies so they can grow up and replace the workers so we will need less immigrants replacing them! they don't want to be saddled with the cost of educating those babies, so they can actually be qualified for the jobs that need to be filled, they don't want to ensure they are fed so they are healthy enough to work when they enter the workforce...
no one's mentioned the fact that many of the later term abortions are because of defects within the baby... some which are quite expensive to repair if that baby is to grow into a productive citizen... they won't want to pay for that either, or have your average health insurance policy carry the maternity care that would at least pay some of the initial cost at birth...
they just want the babies... so badly, they would leave a women suffering for days, baby doomed, till the women reaches close to the point of death... they and only then should someone intervene!!
they want pain, suffering, desperation, because that sells religions and fills the collection plates.
