You all are doing an exceptional job skirting around the issue of paying for 650,000 more American babies a year that people would otherwise abort. That adds up to millions very quickly, are they entitled to free housing, food and healthcare now? Because if you're not going to address this issue, you might as well be supporting socialism, because that's the only thing that is going to provide for that many kids to survive decently. Not just wishes & a bible mindset.

Facts dont matter man.

Only about 10% of Americans can afford to raise a child properly.

Raise the minimum wage to $20 and people will start having the children rather than aborting them.

It is simply an economic and not a moral issue.

Sanger was a nurse sent to help women in poor communities. She saw many women who came to her asking for help to end their pregnancies, because they weren’t going to be able to feed them. Sanger was actually personally against abortion, so she started a clinic designed to educate women on how to avoid pregnancy in the first place. Want to know where that first clinic was? In a poor Jewish/Italian neighborhood. Jewish/Italian, as in, not black.

Sanger was an advocate for women of all races/nationalities. She wanted poor women to have control over their own bodies and not spew out babies by the dozens when they really didn’t want to. Again, she was personally against abortion, but she was all about birth control.

Emotional pleas should not be used to take away people’s decisions on how to live their lives.

We all get that you don’t like abortions. So don’t get one. Just like, if you don’t like guns, don’t get one. Why do you feel the need to push your opinions on everybody else with legislation?

If you make it illegal, then the practice goes underground and people will be forced to get sub par medical treatment. Just like drugs went underground, just like guns will go underground.

Free contraceptives and mandatory sex education (not abstinence only) will drop abortion rates. Everything anti-choicers are against. Wicked smaht!

No, make up YOUR minds. That many extra American citizens -- unwanted ones that will be given up in big numbers, at that -- will require a drastic overhaul of how we do things on a social level in this country. You're effectively arguing for going socialist, while trying to avoid admitting it.
