and more and more hospitals in the states are finding themselves in financial trouble and having to join up with the big catholic hospital groups, sooner or later we are gonna have our own sad stories in our hospitals also, regardless of weather roe v. wade is overturned or not. because they are running on basically the same policies as the irish hospitals are and I doubt if the gov't is gonna do much to get them to change them with the current administration in office.

Makes no sense . A life begins when an egg and sperm unite to create an embryo. A sperm or an egg on their own are just that.. simply an egg or a sperm.

that's not to mention all the ones that do get fertilized, but still get washed away....
either we are eternal spiritual beings in which case those who don't make it on the first try, for whatever reason, would have many more chances..
or, all we are is biological, beginning with the fertilized egg... in which case, there is no way that a first trimester fetus would even be able to recognize the loss. that wouldn't happen till way later in the pregnancy.

the, but how would you feel if your mom aborted you is kind of a argument to make, especially for someone who seems so callous when it comes to the mother's life....
let's ask the fetus how it would feel if it killed it's host before it was born, shall we??
