Full report here from Fox News, and Wired

President Trump has tapped former adviser Brad Parscale to be campaign manager for his 2020 re-election bid, underscoring his intentions to run for a second term.

Parscale, who previously worked for the Trump Organization, was Trump’s top digital operations guru during the 2016 campaign.

“President Trump is delivering on his promises for a stronger more prosperous country. ... We’re committed to continuing this fight for our country by President Trump’s side and I’m thrilled Brad will help lead the effort,” Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement released by the Trump campaign.

How is this shocking?

Didn't we all expect him to run for re-election?

Edit: Kind of slimy of Drudge to say it's a world exclusive when his own source is CNN.

Looking for other news atricles as they are posted

Why not just use the source Drudge uses:

First one out the starting gate has the advantage. Democrats are in a panic. They thought Trump-Russia collusion was going to be their salvation. haha.

But we've known this since his inaugeration...

How are you "stunned" by this announcement? I mean the world certainly isn't.

Where is Shia Labeouf with his year-long video protests when you need them?

I would have loved to see his reaction to this.

I just reread the OP, and funny I don't see the
word "shocking" anywhere.

However, I would advise those thinking he is
going to be impeached and out of office
to get some help with PDS.

PDS - Putin Derangement Syndrome.

Cool, I can't wait to vote for him again and see how the country reacts to his reelection that he isn't supposed to even make it to.

Stuns the political world?
How many presidents have decided to only do one term? I think the world would just expect that the president would run for a second term

Well, it does say Trump will "stun" the political world. To "stun" someone you have to do or say something shocking.

Who said anything about impeachment?

I guess you are correct. Someone does need help with their derangement issues.

By the way, you are supposed to use the quote functions to attribute certain text to it's source. The language in the OP is not yours. It's Drudge's.

Your vote has never been more important.

Between the usual suspects championing election rigging as a first amendment right, and their gunphobia.

4 more years.

4 more years.

4 more beers.

Here's to Making the Usual suspects whine again.

Perhaps not in this thread, but 'resisters' and dems in general have been salivating at the mouth and talking about impeachment since even before his first day in office. I'm not sure how anyone could deny this

As with anything involving Trump, the announcement needs to be sensationalized to sound like the announcement to end all announcements or something. It's just the normal SOP of fluff > depth with this administration.

Of course the world isn't. You guys have only been telling us since announcement in 2015 that Trump would never make it out of the primaries, which turned into him never winning the primaries after he made it through the primaries, which turned into him never beating Hillary after he won the primaries, which turned into him not lasting 6 weeks in the White House after he beat Hillary, which has now turned into you not being stunned that he is running for reelection after he's gone a year and a half and is still in the White House.

Yes, of COURSE nobody is stunned. Question is, will you be stunned when he wins reelection or have you finally come to terms that he's the best fit for this country and the 20,000,000 votes in CA and NY are only good enough to get your candidate 84 electoral votes?

Oh, Ok. This should be good. I am not going to say anything against the trump followers. I am just going to sit and patiently wait for Muller to continue doing his job.

Also, its no surprise he is going to run, he talks about 2020, sometimes. I just thought it was a given, if he makes it that long.

Ah yes, because we all know that political sentiments across the country are EXACTLY the same as they were in 2015/2016 and nothing has remotely changed in the interim...

You do know there is an election happening this year too right? Getting all excited about Trump's 2020 run is practically counting your chickens before they hatch.
