Doesn't this ban cover all semi-auto pistols. Is there one without a removable mag?

Cant let a good crisis go to waste to further a political agenda and push the narrative instead of looking at the glaring truths that caused the shooting to happen in the first place.

Background checks.
FBI ineptitude
Local PD failure to put a undercover cop on the kid.
Failure to identify this pos on social media.

Sounds like they're ready to take them form the police, military, and every criminal in the world. But why wouldn't anyone trust a party that doesn't even care about your vote?

Why do they need to be elected?

They know they're right and we're all wrong, and even when everyone says they're wrong (no one votes for them), they're still right. So why do they need to even bother pretending with elections? They just plain know better than we do.

By taking guns away from everyone?
Makes since. Not.

Its not worth it to even reply to him, he will just hit and run repeat the talking points and then leave.

Dont even engage you cant have a constructive or even well thought out debate with this poster, one of the very very few im almost completely convinced IS actually paid lol

As to your comment , thats exactly what they want to do, disarm everyone, thats basically what this ban covers except revolvers etc.

But remember "We arent trying to take your firearms"

"Spray and pray" is not considered to be sportsmanlike in my circle. There is no substitute for good shooting form. A quality semi will allow you achieve good shot placement. And a primary benefit is being able to put a larger group of shots in place prior to having to reload.

Seems the logic is that anyone with one of these firearms now isn't going to use one illegally in the future. A potential lawbreaker would buying a new one or borrowing a friends.

Good luck with that.

They wont need "potential" lawbreakers when they create criminals out of everyone owning this type of firearm and who refuse to give them up.

Which is exactly how they plan on that going down, history shows this.

Is there an iceburg's chance in hell that this could get any traction?

I am hopeful that the answer is no... but these days I really don't know.

You're wasting your time, dude. Logic isn't something they are gonna understand.

Only emotional arguments. Especially ones that will make a good sound bite on CNN.

Where is the usual couple of fools that run around this site spouting off "nobody wants to take your guns" or "not one politician has ever said they want to take your guns".

Here's proof, and it isn't the first time. I don't understand people that can see proof, and not acknowledge it. I'm sure we'll hear those gloriously foolish quotes above dribble out of the mouths of the anti gun mental midgets for years to come.

You've got a point there. Those who have them will keep a tighter rein on them to make sure they don't go awol. I would never consider loaning any of my stock to anyone else now. Nobody else loves them like I do.

If they actually manage to get that snip passed?

Lot's of people are going to be pissed the # off.

I'll be among them. My two senators have already received my e-mails, and will receive more.

Not only will I not vote for them, though I never have, I will actively campaign, should I still be in state, against them.

Yes, you're right. But I try to be polite, reasonable, and logical to folks who'll let me. If they start to push, I hit them with a continually bigger club until they get the point.

I've emailed President Trump, both my senators, and my rep. I've also done the same through NRA and NAGR legislative alert responses. They know my thoughts.
