Because he isn't coming across as a bitter and angry individual that has gone completely unhinged and feels the need to yell and scream in caps to get his message across?

Yes, they mostly buy them on the blackmarket / under the table. Nothing would change to the better.

The guns are there already, if you´re going to take them away, only law abiding people will give them up and criminals feel like kings.

It´s different if you always had tight gun laws, however this is not the case for the USA. So keeping status quo is the best solution in that case, besides from better training.

Our modern society has become more complex.

As a result, we've become more dependent on the agencies that fuel society.

We have created a symbiotic relationship with the entity of government.

*The above post caused me to think a lot. It has created a nose bleed. I will now have to spend the rest of today making fart jokes in order to recuperate.

We have. For, by and of is something we couldn't be further from at this point.

Still waiting for those jokes DB!

It was good enough to not only provoke an emotional response, but a physical one as well.

However, that wasn't my intention. I just wished to vent a frustrated thought that I had hoping to clarify it or dismiss it.

Thanks for stopping in!

Surprise? Not at all. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely. They've been taking it by force or will for quite some time now. What is surprising is the shift of balance from force to will.

IMO of course.

Damn. Now I'm right back where I started.

I vote for the H&K if you're in the market. That quality simply can not be beat.

Best of luck...you're going to need it!

I think the solution is so easy even a caveman can do it.

Don't like guns don't buy one.

Easy peasy.

Those that kill children, teachers, innocent people like guns. And buy them.

...so do people that don't.

The best rants are often the shortest rants.

Why bloviate after all?

I find it remarkably odd, sad and a little funny that people are ready to give into fear and continue living in it at the hands of extreme cowards.

Tossing rights and the ability to think and reason aside for the sake of a little facade of security.

This tactic is all too familiar and it keeps coming from the same playbook. We know the government hates competition.

How about a Ruger SR series? I've always been a Ruger fan.

My personal favorite is the Sig Sauer P226. Nails a gnats a$$ to the head of a sewing pin, and proceeds to blow that assembly right though the center of a bullseye.
