Woman Assumes Olympics Fan Is Flying a Confederate Flag. It Was Norwegian.

Norwegian flags are a VERY common sight in the Seattle area and have been for as long as I can remember, not just during the Olympics. The woman who made this complaint must not be from the Seattle area, or, if she is, has had her nose stuck in her iPhone so much (especially while driving) that she never bothered to notice how many locals fly the Norwegian colors.

Even if it were a Confederate Flag, is it something to complain about? I can think of quite a few things that are more worthy of speaking out about in this city: taxes, bike-lanes, corrupt government, housing/rent prices, homeless camps, meth/heroin addicts, traffic, traffic, traffic, traffic!

No worse than any other country my friend. I've run into a lot of Europeans with really stupid missconceptions about the world around them. We don't have a monopoly on idiots in the US. Actually, we're just catching up.

I hope this woman never comes over to Poulsbo. That flag will have her all fetal like. Though to be honest she if she doesn't like the Confederate Flag she really should stay away from Mason County.

I wonder if this is a real event or if she reported this as a way of gaining a little attention for herself? Does anyone know if she just published a book or anything? I don't see how anyone can live up here in the PNW and get the Norwegian Flag confused with any other flag.

This is america and while I can understand why images in a public place should be debated those at my private residence are none of anyone's business.
