In an interview with HIC Chairman Nunes by Sharyl Atkinson
we learn of new details in the Obama Administration Unmasking
and FISA Abuses scandal; it is by far worse than we knew.

Atkinson invited both Nunes and Schiff, but
not surprisingly Schiff declined to appear
with claims Nunes is only trying to undermine
the Special Counsel Russia Probe.

Nunes, however claims the unmasking and FISA Abuse
has nothing to do with Special Counsel's probe, and he
is correct!

Nunes confirms that names of several hundred Americans
were unmasked over a period of months, sometimes
several requests a day, for political purposes, and
appear to have been leaked to the media.

Sharyl Atkinson interview with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes

There are numerous investigations going on, but one of them, at least, is coming to a close. That is the House Intelligence Committee investigation into alleged Trump-Russia collusion. As of today, that Republican-led investigation hasn’t turned up any improper ties to Russia, but has revealed something perhaps larger and even more serious. We asked to sit down with both the top Democrat and Republican on the committee, only the Republican chairman Devin Nunes agreed.
Sharyl: What is the investigation that the House intelligence committee is covering?

Rep. Devin Nunes: Well we have a Russian Investigation going on whether or not there was collusion between any campaign and the Russians. That's coming to a close. We've never had any evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians.

Sharyl: So you're comfortable with saying at this point, you don't see anything there?

Rep. Devin Nunes: No, There's nothing there.

Sharyl: What else?

Rep. Devin Nunes: So in that investigation, we've unearthed things that are very concerning. We know that there are un-maskings that occurred and probably were leaked to the media. So this is, so these were, this is an intelligence products that were put together. The names or the names of the Americans were masked.

Sharyl: Because it's so sensitive, Americans aren't supposed to be spied on by our intelligence agencies. So when they are captured, their names are-

Rep. Devin Nunes: Are masked-

Sharyl: Right, Masked, inside the government.

Rep. Devin Nunes: And what we found was happening is, in the last administration, they were unmasking hundreds, and hundreds, and hundreds of American's names. They were unmasking people for what I would say, for lack of a better definition, were for political purposes.

Hundreds and Hundreds of names were unmasked, and many names
were leaked and ended up in news reports.

Americans who are completely innocent have been spied
on, illegally and without warrant. This was nothing less than
criminal!

Chairman Nunes pledges to follow through with oversight,
and if need be will put the FBI and DOJ on trial.

NUNES: As it relates to Department of Justice and the FBI, if they need to be put on trial, we will put them on trial. The reason that Congress exists is to oversee these agencies that we created. DOJ and FBI are not above the law. Congress created them, we oversee them, and we fund them. And if they're committing abuse for a secret court, getting warrants on American citizens, you're darn right that we're going to put them on trial.

Jeff Sessions has confirmed that the DOJ is
investigating the FISA application process by the FBI,
and that the IG is working towards a Special Counsel
to look into this mess.

Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit to gain access to the
records on Susan Rice and Samantha Power, but
the Obama Admin removed the records, allowed
by National Security Council (NSC)?

Judicial Watch said it was told by the National Security Council (NSC) in May 2017 that materials regarding unmasking by Obama national security adviser Susan Rice of “the identities of any U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team” have been removed to the Obama Library.

As an American, I find this outrageous!

This is nothing less than an all out assault on our rights
and the democratic process to elect a President.

If this does not stop, and those who have
usurped the law for political gain are not punished
they will have us living under a Politbureau!

How much dirt can these people handle before they crack?

I am starting to really wonder bout things.

I wonder if the unmasking is really illegal or do we just believe it is? I bet there is some hidden clause and they just use all this for the propaganda in the news cycle as a form of control. likely not but it is starting to seem that way.

The Obama library...

The Obama Presidential Center in Chicago's Jackson Park will take a different route, opting out of the presidential library network operated by the National Archives and Records Administration —and the millions of dollars in federal support that go along with membership.

Agency officials on Thursday confirmed the split, which was not disclosed last week when former President Barack Obama unveiled conceptual designs for the center. In the months leading up to the announcement, it was widely assumed that the center would have a presidential library, full of documents and artifacts, that was part of the NARA system.

Obama Presidential Center breaks from National Archives model

And

Unlike traditional presidential libraries, the Obama Presidential Center will not actually have library materials. That is—it will not house former President Obama’s manuscripts, documents, letters, and gifts from his tenure in office—items presidential centers around the country all have.

Instead, it will include space for outdoor functions and picnics, a basketball court, recording studio, sledding hill, children’s play garden, and more.

...

“Obama has been a game-changer from the beginning. If you see the presidential libraries of current living presidents, you’ll see how those centers have evolved,” she said, reports the Chicago Tribune. “Going digital is a natural progression of lessons learned from those entities.”

Obama's Presidential Library Won't Actually Have Library Materials

So rather than the actual documents, there will be digitized versions of the documents.

I'm sure there's nothing fishy that could happen there, now is there?

Damn, I'm loving Nunes more each day.

This kind of stuff is exactly what conservatives were afraid would happen: unaccountable paper-pushers in faceless government agencies trampling people's rights for political purposes, and/or to settle scores for past affronts (real or perceived). Now that it's been established beyond any reasonable debate that the so-called Justice Department has been doing this, we need to clean house, firing or jailing the offenders as necessary. If that doesn't happen, then we'll be at the point where there is every reason to believe the system is beyond salvage. And you know what comes at that point.

Anyone who watched the news in the last couple years, saw this happen first hand. The leaks, the "unmasking", and it was all kind of brushed away back then, but it happened and can't be denied.

I wonder if this can be averted, or if it already happened, and the shredder has been engaged.

This guy is a traitor and will do anything to cover his tracks! Are you seriously that foolish? Why are so many conservatives stepping down or not running for reelection? Because they know whats really going on. And they are afraid of the blue wave. Which is def coming. Starting this November and culminating with Trump's embarrassing loss in 2020.

Considering how much dirt there is left, lets hope they
are prepared to go the full distance.

Someone has to.

Seems we are a little late. I'm pretty sure none of this will be resolved in my lifetime. Hopefully, the logical conclusion (assuming no miracle to the contrary) will be something I don't have to live through.

And everyone is to blame.

When the right defended the abuses of the Bush administration without regard to the consequences and the precedents being set, they made the left's job that much easier. Obama didn't investigate or prosecute the malfeasance of the Bush administration, because they intended to do the same in the name of their own world vision and agenda.

Now today the left does the exact same thing, defending the abuses of the last administration and smearing the current one, without any regard to the perilous ledge we keep inching towards.

I believe that when Franklin said a "Republic, if you can keep it", it wasn't just a warning, but an expression of doubt.

Now we can see why.

I've done a little follow up and this is what I've found:

Before the doors of President Barack Obama's library open on Chicago's South Side, truckloads of White House archives will be shipped to a former furniture store in the northwest suburbs.

A massive volume of paperwork, electronic data and artifacts will find a temporary home at the old Plunkett Home Furnishings store on Golf Road in Hoffman Estates. As many as 120 employees will be brought in by the National Archives and Records Administration to sort through the material, which ultimately will be part of the Obama Presidential Center.
...
The materials that will wind up in the library are not just from the Oval Office, but from almost every part of the Executive Office of the President. According to Laster, the agency already is providing "courtesy storage" for some of Obama's presidential papers in a location he declined to disclose, though archivists can't yet dig into the boxes of documents.

First stop for Obama library archives? An empty furniture store in Hoffman Estates

The part that really stood out to me was this, "the agency already is providing "courtesy storage" for some of Obama's presidential papers in a location he declined to disclose." Why would some of Obama's presidential papers go to a different, undisclosed location?

More details:

The U. S. General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease ”Archival/Climatized” Light Industrial / Flex / Warehouse / FORMER Retail space in the Greater Chicagoland area (Chicago and surrounding suburbs, IL) Federal Project

Award $11.3M

GovTribe

More:

Hoffman Estates Medical Development Llc is a small organization in the security brokers and dealers industry located in Northbrook, IL. It opened its doors in 2011 and now has an estimated $102,520 USD in yearly revenue and 2 employees.

Find The Company

Why would a small security broker/ real estate holding company be entrusted with presidential papers?

Can you just imagine if Bush had done this?

The scary thing is that in the past, Republicans have taken
the "high road", Dems get dirty and stalemate by intimidation.

But Trump is not going to back down, others can stand
beside him emboldened.

NSA warrantless surveillance (2001–07)

From 2001 to 2007, he didn't need to unmask anything.

Hardly the high road.

Just sayin.

Good post! And what most media idiots forget is that Congress created the FBI and doj.

Those agencies are under and answer to Congress, not the other way around.

LOL!!
The only traitor is the clown that has been out of office for 14+ months now.
And as I have said at least a dozen times, for you Leftists to have a snowball’s chance in hell of even coming close to anything in 2020, you better start concentrating on finding someone to run on the ticket that has a shred of credibility left.

wow, I wonder if this will be realized as the monumental FU that it is? This takes the "private server to avoid FOIA requests" to a new level. And it's been my opinion for a while, Obama didn't try to hide his shady stuff, he did it right out in the open, and everyone assumed it was OK.

It will be too late, when we go looking for documents his "library" 'lost'.

I hope you do a proper thread on this, it's potentially as big as the other stuff going on.
