Opposition research is standard procedure. The DNC accepted unsolicited intel from the Russians and they "loved it" so much they gave then money for it and used it for fisa warrants. And there still isn't a law called collusion. Surely since this is such an important issue for you, you must be happy Clinton didn't win.

Dossier-I and the less known Dossier-II were like switch-blade knives. Had multiple purposes. Help Hillary, Hurt Trump, Insurance to keep Trump away after Hillary won, future black-mail potential...blah blah blah.
