Women's March Speaker a Kidnapper, Murderer

I'm posting this here because I can see it getting heated. If this isn't the appropriate forum I apologize.

Yes, prison is tough, and 27 years of it can change a person. I'll admit I'm torn on this. She did serve her time. But is it appropriate for her to emerge as a leading figure for social change? The event organizers must have been aware of her history...

Donna Hylton was convicted of second-degree murder and two counts of first-degree kidnapping on March 12, 1986. She had been an accessory in the gruesome murder of Long Island real-estate broker Thomas Vigliarole, whose body was found locked inside a trunk in a Manhattan apartment in 1985. Vigliarole had died of asphyxiation. He was starved, beaten, raped, burned and tortured. Hylton served 27 years at New York’s Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for the crime.

She participated in these acts in exchange for a $9000 cut. She wanted the money to start a portfolio for a modeling career.

“This march is about us, the people, the women in this country who refuse to be marginalized, sexualized and abused and silenced. March!” Hylton shouted to a large crowd as she raised her fist into the air.

Curiously, while Hylton discussed her time in prison at the Washington march, she never provided any details of the crime that landed her behind bars.

So maybe she's changed. I'm just unsure that she should be considered an authority on morality and social welfare. She kind of sounds like a sociopath to me, but I'm not qualified to make such a distinction. How about you all?

While I'm shocked that a female could do this to a male, I'm saddened to say that I'm not surprised that she was standing up there at an anti-Trump, or Womens March, preaching about abuse and sexism. Utterly disgusting, but not surprising. They'll choose anyone to speak ill about men/Republicans/Trump, even if they've got priors for abuse, torture, and murder.

Someone who tortures and helps murder another person for $9,000 to become a model is not someone who is able to care about social issues.

“She slipped verbally, and said in an almost irritable way, ‘He [the victim] was going to die anyway, so …’ and then she caught herself. I just looked at her. All her previous protestations that when arrested she’d had no idea Vigliarole was dead were clearly lies.”

Just a typical lying, malicious psychopath who wants attention and fame. The fact that she's seeking it while making herself sound like a victim at the same time is of no surprise.

She's the typical Women's March participant. I can't think of very many people who think these women are marching in protest to anything other than a Trump presidency.

Unbelievable. I may not agree with the gay lifestyle, but damn, nobody deserves that. And then her comment just adds fuel to the fire. Someone needs to see if Rita squirms and wiggles when she has a metal bar shoved up her ass. Absolutely disgusting. Sadly, Rita is probably one of the loudest rally goers at gay pride rallies.

It's just... it takes a special kind of evil to torture and rape someone to death, then afterwards crack jokes about him being a "homo". Whether or not he was is immaterial, I think. I mean these three girls vamped the guy by posing as prostitutes.

They don't care. As long as you affirm their politics, you can be in their club.

Pretty much the main reason I've become a supporter of President Trump is that he's an outsider whom, despite his New York braggadocio and faults, is trying to clean up a bit.

We can worry about him later if need be, but for now lets help him do it---we gotta get these corrupt crazies OUT!!

I fear there will be some "women" who will actually applaud her actions 27yrs ago....after all it was only a man she brutally murdered...he clearly deserved it due to his patriarchial oppression
