So we all know that lots of our favourite songs are quality, but maybe we have more than one version that we like right?

How many tunes do you love that have three or more versions?

Neil Young

The Pixies

David Bowie

That double guitar though...gotta give it to the Pixies, right?

Adagio for whatever they fancy I guess. Some call it Agnus Dei.

Samuel Barber's version, the most beautiful piece of music ever put to paper...apart from that guy Bach

Here's a Choral version

It trips me out that there can be such a rendition only through people's voices, but there it is

Paul Oakenfold

Various people and their versions of the Dylan classic All Along The Watchtower.

So many people have covered this. Just go to YouTube , search it and you will probably find over 100 artist that have add their color to it. These are my 3 favorites.

This version is one of those songs that I think some kid 30 years from now will here it and feel something..it's that powerful. I have often thought that a great song, regardless of genre , transcends time , styles, age, gender, whatever this version works that way for me..

This version is a much different feel to it..Lisa Gerrard , the female part of the legendary Dead Can Dance, giving a sort of Portishead-slowed down-drawn out version with her distinct voice..

Finally maybe my favorite which is the version by Bear McCreary that played such a huge part in the amazing BSG 2004-2009.
A different feel but no less urgent and powerful then the Hendrix version...
