Methinks we will be seeing Mr Gowdy again as either a special prosecutor on this FISA/FBI debacle or, even more likely, as a Supreme Court Justice Nominee when Ruth Bader Ginsberg keels over or Anthony Kennedy retires in the near future.

I smell cabinet position/SCOTUS.

But, I can just as easily see Gowdy wanting to get down in the dirt on the local level.

Saw some theories about him possibly taking a seat on the 4th Circuit court which just had an opening in seat 12 (Dennis Shedd), located in South Carolina of all places.

Also read he poo-pooed the idea before too.

I'm actually sad to see him go. We are losing one of the few good politicians that exist.

His sole issue, which is completely fake in the first place, is about to pass the statute of limitations for any alleged crime. He made a career out of Hillary, and he can't do that anymore. Throw in the Trump drama and it's time to get out.

Trey is Leaving Politics in order to get back into the Justice System as Jeff Sessions New AG Replacement . President Trump sees this as a Major Move in Defeating the " Deep State " Hold on the Federal Government Right Now ......Stay Tuned .

Trey Gowdy would be perfect as AG.

He is going to be interviewed on Fox next Tuesday, so maybe he will give a hint as to his next move. His mention of the Justice System seems to indicate that he has an idea where he is headed to next.
