1973 was a cool year. The Battle of the Sexes took place that year and you could buy a dozen eggs for 25 cents. I guess Nixon era wasn't that bad from the current point of view.

Ummm...cool...I was wondering what detector you use...I’m thinking of purchasing an XP Dues...to do some prospecting...

Not top of the line but from everything I’ve read it is a very good lightweight unit...any thoughts...?

That's a good detector. I mostly use a T2 Teknetics.
