My question is, if the Brit's did this for Obama, what did we do for the British?

evidently, you should only be concerned when the inevitable overreach effects those with influence...

Judge Napalitano (Fox News contributor) provided this info from one of his sources.

standard practice prior to the Patriot Act. England, Canada, the U.S. and Australia used each other to spy on their own citizens to circumvent the law against spying on one's own citizens.

My guess is: We used US bots/shills to try to undermine support for Brexit.

Question.

So this is now the third thread basically on this same document.

The first one was quickly put into the hoax bin.

The second was a thread discussing this as it being a hoax.

The question then is why is this thread still up if it has already been posted twice both times as a hoax?

I just think it a valid question to ask I relation to this thread.

I have some experience of top level government documents in the UK.

That letter looks good but the format is wrong.

Just saying.

ATS should definitely consider making you overlord of threads members are allowed to discuss here, and/or where, when or for how long we are allowed to discuss them.

You can report the thread if you think it needs to be moved. Yammering about it in a post is pointless.

Nope it’s a perfectly reasonable question.

If I post I duplicate thread it gets binned and thats totally fair, if I post a duplicate of a thread that is a hoax then I would expect it to be trashed also.

It’s not about mini-modding or anything like that I just think some clarification would be nice.

It has been reported, by multiple people, yet here it still remains.

From my understanding, repeating a HOAX in another thread becomes a bannable offense in the T&C of this site, unless that has changed which I doubt.

The original thread in the HOAX bin is here

With that, I don't see a problem with questioning it's continued existence. Also, your yammering about someone else's yammering is equally as pointless.

So now we've gone from hoax binning the thread to banning the OP.

interesting.

Nothing interesting about it at all. It is just a fact, according to the T&C that continuing to perpetuate a HOAX has been a bannable offsense.

So no, WE'VE not gone from one to another, it's been a constant.

15l.) [HOAX]: In the event you Post more than three items that are later determined to be of an obviously hoax, fraudulent, or faked nature, your account may be terminated without warning.

Well that would take out half of members that pushed the dossier hoax over and over again.

Well I'm not sure how we would know this, but honestly why is this so critical? It hasn't even been up 24 hours.

I feel like you're bashing not only the OP, but now the mods. If you reported it somebody will look at it. They could be discussing it now.

Because it references the same document that has already been discussed and determined to be a hoax. Why would it need further discussion? Furthermore, I'm not bashing anyone but merely stating fact.

Not precisely though, the dossier is an actual document produced by an actual organization that has been verified...not an individual with unverified sources and glaring errors. Lest we forget what differentiates a hoax from a non-hoax is exactly that....verification.
