Twitter COO Anthony Noto Resigns, Stock Slides

Another exec from a high-profile company has jumped ship. This time it's Twitter's COO, Anthony Noto. As the article notes, Noto's departure appears to be unexpected, because Twitter does not have a replacement ready. (They only say that other people will take over his duties.)

I wonder if Twitter's censorship/shadow banning got them in trouble. As the COO, Noto would have had a hand in those policies.

He's supposedly going over to SoFi because of their recent sexual abuse scandal to help turn them around. Noto has a great deal of respect in the tech industry and is considered a techies' techie. Plus it's a promotion, he'll be the CEO.
