12 Strong....

Another one shot here in Tamale wood. Personally Chris H never convinced me he was a warrior. But the overall concept and script was almost believable. Lots of war type nonstop action, nice splosions. CGI, worked background 1 day.

"Hostiles"

Another one shot here in the land of enchantment. Christian Bale was very believable, Wes Studi as well, in fact casting did a great job with all the principals. Well crafted script/screenplay, great locations, powerful music, needs the big screen. Day player crew, transpo dept.

for both

Teamsters, huh?

I actually really want to see Hostiles, it looks exceptional. As a fan of both Bale and Studi (Studi since the early 90s or so), I'm glad to see he's still in the game.

12 Strong, not so much, if you say it's a lot of CGI and action.

I always love seeing how the shows I work on come to life—or don't.

I'm not Cali either, but I've never seen a company grip/key/BB or gaffer drive a truck—or van—except maybe on an indie. And C stands, gels, track, dolly, flags etc are usually on the 40, or the shorty.

But hey, whatever works.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about with your technical jargon, but I find it fascinating.

It's like reading the aircraft forum, I am in way over my head but I enjoy trying to sort it out..
