FBI: Devin Nunes Won’t Show Us Memo Alleging Surveillance Abuses

FBI agents have yet to see the memo House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Dunes, R-Calif., and his Republican colleagues on the panel wrote about alleged surveillance abuses committed by the intelligence community, according to a report.

"The FBI has requested to receive a copy of the memo in order to evaluate the information and take appropriate steps if necessary. To date, the request has been declined,” FBI spokesman Andrew Ames told the Daily Beast.

House Republicans are sharply divided over how to handle a classified memo that President Donald Trump’s allies say contains explosive details of misconduct by senior FBI and Justice Department officials.

The memo, according to three people who have viewed it, raises questions about how the FBI handled a fall 2016 application for a warrant to surveil a Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page, and whether agents were forthcoming about the role a controversial dossier alleging Kremlin influence over Trump played in their decision to seek the warrant.

The procedure is have a committee vote on the release; not one man's decision . If voted to release then it is forwarded on the the Executive branch for signing. I just hope the Democrats can't block the public release. If anyone is still working in the government this coming week I would expect the request to be forwarded.

Exactly right. Unlike Diane Feinstein, Devin Nunes will follow official legal procedure. A simple Google search of FISA Memo would have easily answered the thread starter's question.

The Dems are salivating at pinning anything on Trump. Him releasing this memo would have the Democrats and their MSM mouthpieces trumpeting the same BS line ''Trump releases junk memo to distract public from Mueller investigation'' or maybe they'll accuse him of ''Destroying the credibility of the FBI'' and thus obstructing justice in the Mueller investigation...

They've done all this before, stop pretending you aren't aware of whats going on with the media and the FBI and Mueller.

Also, there is a government shut down on at the moment. Imagine if Trump did release it in the middle of this crisis?
the Dems and their respective mouthpieces would use it and scream from the rooftops that ''Trump concentrates more on Political Witch Hunts than the troops not being paid'' - this would have two fold response, 1 it would mute Trumps ''shutdownschumer'' head of steam, 2 it would release the truth to the public at a time when their attentions is very limited.

Give it time.. when the Memo is release and more damning information comes out about the DOJ and FBI being used to
a) get Clinton of federal charges with her private server
b) spy on a political candidate and use information to rig an election
c) attempt to bring down a sitting president through misinformation and lies
