DRIBS: Dirty Reptilian Ignorant Billionaire Shipheads.

Dirty: They seem to be somewhere beyond normal human morals and ethics. The kind we all feel, without even thinking about it.

Reptilian: Not really the way David Icke desribes them, but in the way that we observe them to appear to be solely functioning on the reptillian mind. Incapable of love or empathy. No humanity. No compassion. Just cold-blooded survival instincts, beyond their obviously comfortable circumstances.

Ignorant: Because they have no interest in the common man, they know nothing of our daily struggles.

Billionaire: They know how to accumulate carrots, and are excellent danglers.

Shipheads: Mostly just a nasty name, because we don't like their kind.

We have a well-written, interesting article to discuss. Basically it talks about the influence that DRIBS Robert Mercer is enjoying in Washington.
The interesting angled view comes from David Magerman, who in this case, is playing the role of the real human, who figures-out that he has somehow fallen into a pit of vipers.

Magerman appears to have had a moment of clarity, wherin he realizes he doesn't have the stomach to continue serving his DRIBS masters.

Real? Or just another act in the grand theatre?

Please: this is not about political partisanship, but about the many tentacles of the invisible hands that seek to control us.

Seems very contrived, aimed at a certain small group.... at exactly the time I would expect it.

“The ultra-wealthy of today differ from the ultra-wealthy in past eras in that they have, a lot of them, no stake in the infrastructure of society,” Magerman said. He’s seen that their wealth does not depend on the health and stability of the country. In fact, they get rich on volatility and instability.

And this is why we're seeing what we're seeing. It's no surprise someone who wants the government to fall apart gave the Trump campaign millions of dollars.

Thanks for your reply.

Who might be behind it then?
Do you think Magerman is just a fall-guy? More than just another useful idiot?

Good catch. That paragraph did seem to resonate with what we usually suspect of the DRIBS.

Causing chaos in society, and untold misery for the masses, just to add more wealth to an already incomprehensible moutain of private wealth.
No interest at all in humanity.

Wow... he calls his yacht the Sea Owl. And his apartment is the Owl's Nest, managing to reference both the elite's owl worship, and Hitler.

To be clear I don't think this proves he's a white supremacist, it's perfectly fine to name your stuff those things. But the article was very interesting. Anyone who thinks Trump isn't working for the wealthy first and foremost, should read this piece.

Everyone has the right to their beliefs, nothing wrong with being an ultra-libertarian like Mercer, it's a free country, but his utopia might not be so nice for you or your kids, if you aren't millionaires.

Hiya CP.
Yeah: the owl worship is an eyebrow-raiser.

Do you think that there would be a middle-ground, where libertarians can be free to pursue their happiness, and yet not have destructive effects upon regular folks?

I don't know. It would be difficult seeing as all people compete for or share the same, limited resources. Arguably the current system is a compromise between total socialism and total libertarianism.

I can understand people's gripes with Big Government but if they ever got their wish then it would just be replaced by big private entities, even harder to keep in check, and those entities would need to shore up their authority, and they'd end up as the new government. Anarcho-capitalism is just like regular anarchism. It might sound good on paper but it's unstable; if one corporation wont rule then another one will. Perhaps Mercer believes his algorithms can provide a solution. But probably he's just careless.
