Multiple states, including Michigan have reported a possible meteor explosion.

The videos are just coming out now. This was a widespread sighting. Night turned to day for a few seconds.

Looks like the 'meteors' in Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams.

Thankfully they don't last long enough to trigger any false Nuke alarms.

It was seen from Chicago..up to Traverse City...and over to Detroit. Way up there in the sky. Any surviving pieces could be on the ground in Canada..or at the bottom of Lake Huron.

It really looks to me like it exploded there at the end, airburst. Debris could be scattered over a wide area

It was pretty amazing. Kids thought it was lightning, happened that fast.

I was out near the airport when we saw it so not far from Taylor.

Let's hope (and pray) that mankind is never able to fly a missile that fast in the atmosphere.

I’m in WI, several miles off Lake Michigan.
I was helping my son w/ homework a bit ago and he said “Dad, did you see that?”
I hadn’t seen it, but I’m thinking it was the same one.
