Mueller likely is asking Bannon questions that he already knows the answer to in the hopes he catches him lying and then has leverage to get Bannon to disclose more.
Total Nothingburger obviously. My rule of thumb is if the judicial system hasn't found a patsy to place the blame on within the first 3 hours of a crime (even one as minor as a Presidential Manchurian candidate) then its not worth even investigating.
Did you not read, others have already said Watergate went on for 2 years. Also, yes I am pretty sure that Bannon does know something, as does Muller, how that is a "nothingburger" when we don't even know what is being said yet, is a bit of a conclusion.
We will see, sooner than later I hope. Then we can see who made asses out of themselves, either pro or against, Muller.
Watergate had an actual crime to investigate.
Mueller is investigating a delusion.

The net just keeps closing in.
How many times have I read this "net keeps closing in" comment around here? Been reading that comment for a full year here.
And for a full year, the other side has been saying "the swamp is about to be drained" or whatever is that side's equivalent to "the net keeps closing in."
And has either "side" triumphed over the other? No. We ought to stop putting ourselves against each other, and instead hold our "representatives"'in government accountable, on both damn sides.

He fired James Comey because Comey wouldn't close the Russian investigation. That's according to Trump.
EVEN IF Mueller couldn't prove collusion and money laundering, which he can, but even if he couldn't, you have Trump admitting to Obstruction of Justice in his pressure and termination of Comey.
Moreover, how do YOU know it is a delusion? Do you have ALL the evidence? Have you heard Flynn's conversations with Mueller???
Given that Flynn was given a relatively light plea, you probably ought to worry that Flynn had a great deal to tell Mueller. Moreover, you have Manafort, the prince of rushing around Russia for the last 8 years advising Russia on how to sway elections in the west, as Trump's campaign adviser.
Your willful refusal to even contemplate the evidence is telling.

Slowest investigation ever. Maybe they don't want Trump out. They have definitely had time to think about it. Put it off till midterms to really confuse stuff. Then nothing.

Congressman Trey Gowdy said pretty much the same thing tonight. With over 200 staffers and 12 full-time attorneys, why is the Mueller investigation taking so long, while yielding so little?
