If you are ‘offended’ by the notion that Haiti is a craptastic location, then show us. Book a flight to Haiti, take the family. Please video and share the conversation.

ATS member: ‘Honey, I know we have been saving up to take the kids to Disney but instead let’s go to Haiti’

Spouse: ‘WTF, Haiti is an *ATS edit*’

Do you think more people will go to Haiti out of spite to show it’s not a craptastic place? Do you think anyone on ATS will book a flight and post their travel info in this post?

As undesirable as Haiti may be that was not trumps point at all, his point was the people from Haiti are undesirable immigrants. It's nothing more than thinly veiled racism but it's cool to be a douche bag now Trump is POTUS.

Tell me about it.

A US Government Accountability Office report discovered no hint of wrongdoing, but concluded the IHRC's decisions were "not necessarily aligned with Haitian priorities".

Mr Clinton's own office at the UN found 9% of the foreign aid cash went to the Haitian government and 0.6% to local organisations.

The bulk of it went to UN agencies, international aid groups, private contractors and donor countries' own civilian and military agencies. www.bbc.com...

What an incredibly immature post. Are you kidding right now? He’s the President of the United States, not a random forum user. He shouldn’t be calling other countries “#holes”

if haiti wasn`t a crap hole nobody would be leaving there and coming here,in fact if it wasn`t a crap hole more americans would be immigrating there than haitians immigrating here.
so, yeah put your ass on line and move from the U.S. to Haiti, talk is cheap.
if haiti isn`t a crap hole then pack your bags and get tickets for you the mrs`s and kids and move to Haiti, and as a bonus I heard the cost of living in Haiti is a lot cheaper than in America so you`ll be a really rich American in Haiti. Don`t worry about your kids or your wife being kidnapped and held for ransom just because you`re a rich American, that won`t happen because Haiti isn`t a crap hole. bon voyage!

the truth hurts, if crap hole countries were treated as equals with non crap hole countries ,then they would have no incentive to improve because they would believe that they aren`t crap holes.
giving people EBT cards doesn`t make them law abiding tax paying, civilved americans it just makes them THINK they are so they never try to improve .

no it`s plainly saying put your money where your mouth is. don`t expect other people to put their money or their asses on the line to prove your misguided ideals.
talk is cheap.even the people of Haiti think its a crap hole that`s why they are leaving to come here,i don`t see many americans leaving America to go live in Haiti.

Trump is the leader of the United States, what he says actually has power. Him referring to other nations as #holes is offensive and insulting. He’s not just some random person off the street.

Also, that last part isn’t true at all.

that`s right, and when the president of the U.S. says your country is a crap hole maybe you`ll finally wake up and fix it,because obviously you can`t take a hint when your own people are fleeing your country in droves.

Do you know how Presidents in the past talked, they make Trump look like a choir boy. The difference is they were not on the mic 24/7. All I keep hearing is..We want a politician that talks OK and does nothing... basically talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.. That is what career politicians do, trump is not one and so he really doesn't care what he says because he doesn't need to please the masses with "just the right language" for the next 30 years to get reelected over and over as so many others do that gets us no where. Do you know that Hillary curses worse than a drunken sailor? She throws the F bomb like there is no tomorrow, BUT not for your fragile ears to hear...lol give me a break.

I don’t give a damn about Hillary. This has nothing to do with that mess of a person. There is no justifying a president insulting an entire nation, sorry.

Have you been to crappy neighborhoods in Haiti?

I'm pretty sure Trump is familiar with NYC's crappy neighborhoods and knows firsthand that they can't come even close to squalor of Haitian ghettos.

What is it that you people have against Norwegians? They are the most highly educated nation in the world if one is to believe the UN's figures. Why wouldn't we welcome more people with education and skills than uneducated, unskilled labor? That makes no sense whatsoever.

Of course it doesn’t make sense. But the “horror” of POTUS 45s comment is the new Dem talking point, so the usual suspects will feign their offense ad nauseam until their heroes in the DNC give them a new talking point.

And anyone who thinks the countries referred to by POTUS45 are tropical paradises, please visit them and look around.
