Wal-Mart increases wages, company wide bonuses and more

The momentum continues in the recovery even as those that would dismiss these gains and strive to deny them.

Multiple thousands receive these gains and the confidence in the business sector continues to grow. 2018 is looking like a very good year.

That is great news, I hope these raises raise wages above the poverty level so their employees will no longer need public assistance.

There are many that fall into that category. Now that the corporate and now lowered personal tax cuts kick in perhaps that will continue to be reversed.

Nice. Now does anyone have any recent news on the other 5 companies that said they would raise there minimum wage?
I now att was one and some big banks.

I'm just curious if they did this yet or are still just saying that they will.

Now are they going to move the employees from the 60+ Sams Clubs they're shutting down to new locations so they can keep work?

Are they going to let people actually get 40 hours now, so they qualify for benefits, and actually earn a little bit of money?

Are they going to stop their automation process so people can keep working?

If the answer to those questions are no, then this is just another PR stunt to take advantage of the goodwill associated with the tax cat.
