Thread wasn't accepted

I have been waiting for some notification as to why my thread wasn't accepted. Indeed it was controversial but do we not get notification?

You mean it was deleted? I thought that kind of action came with an automated message, at the very least.

You have to ask. I had one that I should have put in philosophy, but instead put it in chit chat, and my answer was it was too "inflammatory", and should have been in the mud pit. lol. Who knows?

No, it never posted as of 1 1/2 hrs ago. It was in RATS.

What subject was it on?

Usually you get a message saying that "MOD suchandsuch moved it to the bin because don't ask questions to MODS"

Okay, when mine was trashed I got a robo message (like you do with an OT) which told me the name of the mod who did it. So I sent the person a PM asking why, and he responded to it.

If it never posted, I don't think any human would have been rejecting it for content.
It must be a software quirk relating to the RATS forum.

Oh. This sounds like it might be another kind of problem. It didn't post? Some sort of mishap with the post button?

No message. It was about a case that had been vacated against a reporter that had been ordered to no longer investigate. Additional evidence had venticated him. And is regarded Haleigh Cummings with links to others. So you can see, controversial.

Have you still got it in notepad or somewhere? Try again. It doesn't like a Mod did this.

I have it in part. Thing is, and I mentioned in the beginning, there were some big names in the links but I didn't post them and asked others not too. Does it make more sense?

Yeah, I get that it's controversial and see where you're coming from, but what didn't go up, can't be taken down.
PM a mod you know, and ask them. Maybe tell them the subject matter, and see if there were any key words that would have prevented it from posting.

Try the thread title you chose, perhaps there was already one with that same title?

You probably should contact some staff member to ask these questions.

Other members can guess, but mods have access to other information.
And, staff cannot discuss mod actions in public.

TBH, I am not sure what you are asking though.
Are you saying it never posted at all?

You asked people not to mention names, but it never was posted?..

No it never posted and I am not sure who is on duty or if threads have specifice mods.

Mods have specific forums.
Supermods can act in all forums.

Did your thread have a title?
Have you posted in RATS before?

At the beginning of the tread I asked that only initials be mentioned because within the links were very high profile people/politicians. Thread didn't go through and had no notification.

Doesn’t sound like an ATS/Mod/Admin thing, to be honest.

Sounds like outside interference.
