Past 24hrs' wave of Murder Suicides rock Families across America

Headlines from various headline all events reported within past 24hrs:

Four dead including boy in SANTA CLARITA, CA home, murder suicide suspected
Couple found dead in BAY CITY, TX police wake sleeping son, apparent murder-suicide
Woman Killed, Man Critically Wounded, SAN DIEGO, CA possible murder suicide attempt
Cops find Man and 2 girls dead in SACRAMENTO, CA car, apparent murder suicide



Also, developments in another recent case, four dead in SALT LAKE CITY, UT in apparent family murder-suicide. A family who moved to US all the way from Switzerland only to end up in murder suicide horror.

The couple appaently took their two kids' lives, not just their own.

I guess the stress of the holidays is too much for some people. It really sucks they have to take others out around them.

You do realize that in a country with 300M people, there will be murders and suicides.

Is this concept new? or have you just been made aware of it?

You ought to look at suicides of service members. Just the Army™ was suffering through at least 1 a day and at one point there were more suicides than service members dying in combat...

I work in Santa Clarita Cali. Sad situations. The one poster acting like this happens everyday, is WRONG. It's a cluster, hopefully it's over

It’s sad to see souls reach that level of despair and perhaps desperation.

Having suffered several severe bouts of depression and suicidal tendencies, I would never cast a stone on those who have. But like one poster stated , it’s pure evil to take someone else along with you.

The human soul can be full of very intense emotion at times, coupled with a mind who can’t reason things out properly, these emotions can cause great irreparable damage.

I am learning to pray for these souls, and others like them.. perhaps on the brink of a disastrous decision. Somehow it seems better than judging them.😕

Really, that many murder suicides happen that close together? No, not normally, your wrong, not the OP. It is a cluster, and no it is not everyday that many murder suicides take place. Does being condescending make you feel better?

I guess there are 330 million people in America and we get the news 24/7 of everyone of them....

A quick look says 11 incidences per week is average...

What?

It happens on average 11-14 times a week in your country. The OP showed 4 cases. OP needed to add the other 10 cases, then it would be an "average" week.

In order to not look silly in these types of postings... one would think before posting you could understand the national averages for your given country.

Because not knowing the facts can lead to this scenario...........

Scenario;

There is this large truck that stops at everyone's house... I have seen them many times, and at least once a week. It is a big loud truck and people are put walking around it with orange suits on. Why the heck are they stopping so much?

Then someone comes along and lets the complainer know that it is the garbage truck, and it comes on Wednesday every week.

.... Does knowing the truth now make you feel better?

It's just the rule of threes. Humans memorize in3's. The old saying "everything comes in threes". Its why on TV theres 3 sets of 3 commercials every 30 minutes.
