Censorship is preventing speech from happening, via government.

Someone having a louder voice is not censorship, for the right to speak still remains.

A mob shouting down and drowning out speech they do not like is censorship. It’s the heckler’s veto. Suppressing speech is censorship. Shutting down talks is censorship. Preventing people from hearing speech is censorship.

soooo, is Tribalism the underlying factor behind this wave of craziness like white male hatred, snowflakism, and the blacklives matter movement, to mention but a tiny fraction? Everyone seems to have an ism nowadays and want to be segregated. I am having a hard time grasping the speed at which things are moving, what with the counter-movements to the president and such. Do you think that this election cycle and it's result just triggered this avalanche of Tribalism?
