I either read this or dreamt it, not sure. 1,000 telescopes positioned around the globe turning the whole earth into one giant space observatory

I'm thinking KIC 8462852, when the observatories closed and the scientists go home it starts to dim?

That would be a good trick!

Like an anti-quantum thing! When looking at it, it exists as a normal star, but turn your back it starts to disappear from our universe!

And if aliens could build a megastructure around a star, you would think they would know how to let some wavelengths through so to people observing from afar would not know what they are up to!

Just sayin. (I like the idea of an alien megastructure!)

Maybe we just discovered a new theoretical model.
Although if they could build such a device, then they would be afraid of something more powerful than us?

So it's not a Dyson sphere but a Dyson dissaphere..?
