That's why a lot of this is nagging me. I know there's a connection but I just can't put my finger on it here.

I believe leaving the IP in the email was an oversight on whomever released them with the redactions. The email I referenced was one of many with redactions and this one happened to contain the IP address.

Looks to me like a hop on the way to your destination IP posted. Which would be normal as it is a cell phone carrier company router passing on traffic.
I.E. a deflection aimed at your OP. Or someone didn't know enough on the subject. Or both.

Was it ever proven why Hill-dawg had the server set up in the first place?

Even though Hillary is a deplorable, horrible person let that not cloud the fact that she is intelligent and very, very cunning. She's pulled the "I'm just a poor old woman, is this even a computer? I can't recall" card but she would be very aware of the unconstitutionality of the unofficial server. She may not be computer-literate but the people who were working for Hillary while she was SOS would be the 'best of the best'. They would have been directed to set up the secret server by her as they wouldn't do something like that unless told to.

Perhaps this was a hidden way to provide the Saudis with Top Secret US information without directly emailing them from something that could be linked back to Hillary. Remember the Saudi Gov't gave multi million dollar donations to Hillary's "charity" The Clinton Foundation with no seeming explanation as to why they would be so charitable.

Odd since the Saudis don't donate to Christians. They take in zero refugees per year. The bulk majority of Saudi charitable donations has gone to war zones in the relief effort and as an underhanded way to establish or bolster wahhabi Islam in those areas, notably Kosovo, the Balklands, Pakistan, Lebanon and to Muslim areas such as the Horn of Africa. Why are they suddenly giving to the Clintons?

Especially when one of the alleged areas of focus for the CF is female empowerment and gender equality, something so at odds with the Saudis Human rights record.
