Trump administration is not only expanding the use of drones, it is also obscuring the facts about how many drones are being used, how many people are being killed by them and where.
The government has all but officially suppressed information coming out about US policy concerning drone warfare. Journalists and academics we spoke with for this article agree that information about the frequency, location and impact of drone strikes is being obfuscated.
Sarah Kreps, author of Drones: What We Need to Know and an associate professor of government at Cornell University, agreed that information concerning the US drone war has become “murkier” and that “more drone strikes” are probably occurring.
One bombing technique that President Obama championed is drone strikes. As drone-warrior-in-chief, he spread the use of drones outside the declared battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq, mainly to Pakistan and Yemen. Obama authorized over 10 times more drone strikes than George W Bush, and automatically painted all males of military age in these regions as combatants, making them fair game for remote controlled killing.

Right. Obama bombed the crap out of the ME for years and even bragged "I'm good at killing people"....but let's blame Trump.

Former President Obama earned the nickname of “Drone King” when he dramatically escalated the use of drone strikes, while also downplaying the number of innocent civilians who became “collateral damage.” In the two years that his administration devoted to publicly spending millions of taxpayer dollars to fight the Islamic State group, the estimated civilian death toll ranged from 2,300 to 3,400, according to Airwars, an organization tracking deaths in the war against ISIS.
President Trump has been in office for just 9 months, and he has already surpassed Obama’s murderous record with estimated numbers as high as 4,500 civilian deaths.
Pushed to release information about civilian deaths in drone strikes, in July 2016 the US government made the absurd claim it had killed, at most, 116 civilians in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and Libya between 2009 and 2015. Journalists and human rights advocates said the numbers were ridiculously low and unverifiable, given that no names, dates, locations or others details were released. The London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism, which has tracked drone strikes for years, said the true figure was six times higher.
Given that drones account for only a small portion of the munitions dropped in the past eight years, the numbers of civilians killed by Obama’s bombs could be in the thousands. But we can’t know for sure as the administration, and the mainstream media, has been virtually silent about the civilian toll of the administration’s failed interventions.
At Airwars we've been modelling Coalition airstrike data since the start of operations in August 2014,

When did he do that? As far as I know he simply removed himself from the process of approving strikes and granting it to the DOD to pursue as they see fit. Gloves off approach for them.
President Donald Trump has granted the CIA authority to conduct lethal drone strikes once again, according to a news report, rolling back the limits his predecessor Barack Obama imposed on the spy agency's paramilitary operations.
Where as previously, National Security Council officials or even the president himself would authorize these strikes, the new rules Trump has reportedly enacted allow CIA supervisors and others managing these covert operations to give the OK themselves.

Missing a bit there aren't they? They just happen to not have 6 years of bombing data on Obama, but they can say with absolute certainty that Trump is worse?
And your source at Ronpaul just quotes the numbers from Airwars.

Well that sucks. They tend to just kill the guy threatening to expose their drug smuggling operations. Boo! I don't care for that at all.

Can you quote where I said I supported it?
No?
Maybe try not putting words in my mouth.
